Rock Bottom Lounge

This was a vibe. The first time I attended a bar room. You buy liquor by the bottle and it's very affordable. They have food trucks outside, people grilling cooking. Great soul music and r&b. A different and great experience for those 40 and over I would recommend.

I know what you're thinking: "Smoky, surely your codpiece must be stuffed," and you would be right because I have a remarkably tiny penis. Also, the Rock Bottom Lounge is a wonderful neighborhood bar with a charming working class clientele and drinks for less than a gaggle of possum pelts. Don't be alarmed by the bars on the windows, it's only a precaution against my concussive flatus. Look for me at the bar - I will be smoking bath salts and wearing a leotard of a yet-to-be-determined animal print.

Rock Bottom is what it sounds like, and no, you don;t want to go there. If you've never been you don;t want to go. Trust me. If you don't trust me, drive by and take a look during daylight hours. You will see what I mean.

4/5 the only thing at the bottom of your cup is drunk.they don't have ginger ale. they do, however, have the stooges on thursday nights, as well as cheap ass drinks that will get you tipsy and/or drunk. there's a grill outside for mid-set grubbing, but if you get any drink, you'll get a glass full of liquor and a tiny splash of your mixer. i think i had the equivalent of 4 drinks for $10.

Honestly I could care less about this place. My only complaint is the morons it attracts who take up all parking spots from the home owners that actually live here. I shouldn't have to park around the other side of the block of where I live. Then when exiting onto Tchoupitoulas St. they park all over the shoulder illegally to where you can't see oncoming traffic. It's ridiculous.

Very laid back bar on the Tchoup! Good music and food the oysters were awesome. My husband had a delicious BBQ burger.

Free Fish!!!! on Friday Nights from 7pm-8pm. If, you can't make it Friday then stop by Sunday Night they have Free food and $3 Drinks...I love this place
