Jacobsen's in Gretna flubbed an intake manifold gasket replacement and refused to fix it. Next took it to Bohn Ford who wanted $10K to replace the engine! I was reminded that Rob at Robo-Tech was honest and he replaced the flubbed gasket. The truck runs great and the check engine light is off again!There are so many fakes, don't chance it. Take it to Taravella Rd in Marrero.

I got my brake tag here, so I can't vouch for the mechanic work.I got a new car and it needed a brake tag and this place actually takes credit cards for tags, so I headed over. Lemme tell you- when I first drove in I thought I was about to go missing. It looked a little sketchy from the outside, mainly because there are cars randomly parked everywhere. Once I got in and found where I had to go, the man working helped me with my brake tag. The process was easy and painless and I got my two year tag for $20 and I paid with my card.The man was so nice that I'll recommend this spot for anyone that might need any kind of car work done. I love supporting places like this.

Robo-Tech is the best mechanic shop on the Westbank. I realize that is a bold claim to make, but I can back it up. For years I searched for an honest mechanic, who would not rip me off. I had several old cars in frequent need of repair, but the chain shops always tried to upsell me on repairs I didn't need. They frequently would not repair the original problem which caused more repairs to be necessary.I found Rob (Owner) through a friend of a friend. I needed what I thought was a major repair that would cost several hundred dollars. It cost a grand total of $5. He knew he could have overcharged me, but he didn't. He used his experience as a mechanic to save me money, and earn a long time customer. In all my trips to his shop, I always left completely satisfied.If you are on the Westbank and in need of auto repair, check this place out.

Great auto repair place for reasonable prices. I had an AC issue that Don Bohn misdiagnosed twice. Robo-Tech fix it the first time and for about half of what a dealer would have charged. Thanks.

I'll keep it short and sweet. I was referred to Rob by a friend at the swim club. I took my 2007 Pacifica and he did all the work in a timely manner. He changed timing belt, water pump and tensioner. While working on the car he noticed a broken engine mount and fixed that too. The yard and shop are not the neatest but the guy appears to be a straight shooter and I am going to use his shop again.
