Rizzuto's Prime

We went to Rizzuto Prime last night with friends, and it was a disaster from start to finish. Our 7:30 PM reservation turned into a nearly 3-hour wait for entrées, which only arrived after we threatened to leave. The restaurant felt completely disorganized--we had a bartender waiting on our table of six, and management seemed irritated and confused whenever we asked for updates.While some appetizers were decent, the steaks were overcooked, poorly prepared, and definitely not worth the price. I ordered the spinalis (rib cap), but what I received looked and tasted like an overdone New York strip--charred on the outside with an unpleasant, bitter flavor.At one point, the manager offered to comp our appetizers for the long wait, but when the bill finally arrived (just before 11:00 PM), all they'd done was comp one drink each--leaving us with a nearly $1,000 bill for a terrible meal and even worse service. Rather than argue, we paid and left, frustrated and exhausted.The food wasn't good, the service was disorganized and inconsistent, and the atmosphere was mediocre. There are hundreds of better places in New Orleans... I won't be returning unless they make major improvements.

Excellent dining experience in NOLA! Fun atmosphere, exceptional service and top-notch food. I highly recommend the Crab Cake, Pasta Amatriciana and Lobster Fra Diavolo.

The shrimp pasta is so good! Not much shrimp though maybe 5 pieces. Maybe ask for a double serving if you're hungry. The flavor is delicious! Also got the half chicken with brussel sprouts and potatoes. Everything was great flavor. No complaints. Definitely a nice sit down to get away from the busy streets.

My family went this past week to Rizzuto Prime and it was amazing. The whipped feta appetizer was delicious and the crab cakes were the best I've had ever. The beet salad was the perfect mix of sweet beets that were perfectly balanced with cheese and greens. I had the Veal Rizzuto which was loaded with crabmeat, artichokes and tomatoes. Chef's kiss!! We will be back soon! Love this place.

We were in New Orleans for Super Bowl and chose the new Rizzuto's Prime for our Saturday dinner in a beautiful new location in the Hyatt by the Superdome. Right when you enter the restaurant, you know there is something special going on.We were greeted by a young server who immediately brought us our cocktails and came back and explained the specials and of course the seafood selections. Every dish from the fresh oysters, crab cakes, seafood tower appetizer to the salad to the pasta, steaks and seafood along with the desserts were unbelievable. We even had the cannoli cart which just was something I've never seen before and outstanding. It reminded me of being back in Italy.Don't miss out on the wine selection, but don't pass up any of these craft cocktails. I swear it was the largest bar I've ever seen in any restaurant. It had to be at least 90 feet long.Rizzuto's is a vibrant addition to the city's legendary dining scene, offering a fresh take on classic steaks, seafood and Italian cuisine. The menu is a carefully curated mix of traditional dishes with inventive twists. The ambiance strikes the perfect balance wity marble tables and glass windows with contemporary elegance, warm lighting and impeccable Southern hospitality. Food is absolutely delicious! You can't go wrong with anything. The seafood was fresh. The BEST crab cakes I ever had! The pasta, lamb chops and steak were cooked perfectly. They hit the spot. The vibe is a modern chic fun romantic ambiance. Service was great as well. Differently going back!

Went in for was was supposed to be a fun Super Bowl watch with friends . It's usually amazing service with amazing food .While there I overheard the neighboring group share concerns about their food with the server . The server was handling the situation fine . But then a manager named Ucha stepped in and began handling the situation poorly and unprofessionally. His attitude , his body language , and his verbal belittling were completely uncalled for . Even the original server looked completely ashamed . When the party again tried to explain that they just wanted the not so good food replaced , Ucha kicked them out . That's right , he kicked them out. They were NOT loud , aggressive , or disrespectful at all . In fact most were silent in confusion as to how rude the manager was being . I usually love this place - but I will not eat there if Ucha is on shift . I and my friends will not support that kinda of business .To the owners of RP, we live your eatery , but please do something about the manager Ucha

Awesome food and service for a new restaurant open a few days. A very convenient restaurant while staying a Hyatt.

What an opening, the food was fantastic and the service was second to none. I had a NY Strip that was cooked to perfection while it melted in my mouth. The whipped fetta & crab cake apps were also fantastic. I can't wait to get back over there!

Amazing food! Everything we ordered was delicious. Drinks were great. Definitely will be back soon!
