Friendly and extremely clean! Racetrack has boiled peanuts, tamales, tornadoes (stuffed dough), several ice cream flavors, a bakery with Krispy creme donuts. You can dine outside at tables, and gas up!

There are four RaceTrac stores around Slidell and they are all first-rate. This is the location where I tend to buy the most gas, as this is one of two local RaceTracs that sell E0 gasoline. As with all the rest, the pumps are clean and the electronics work well. Gassing up is pretty trouble-free most times. The squeegees provided in the pump area are terrible however. The rubber is hard so it doesn't wipe well. I walked around and tested several and they were all like this. Useless.The gas pumps are clean and in good working order. The pump touch screens, electronics, and pay-by-phone devices work most of the time without problems. The nicest thing about RaceTrac is the coffee! They have machines that grind on demand and so the coffee is always fresh. There are several different flavors/varieties and all are pretty good (even the decaf is decent). The store is clean and well kept. The bathrooms are better than average as convenience store restrooms go. If you go to RaceTrac regularly, download their app and sign up for the Rewards program. I have earned a ton of free swag (coffee) over the years.

Less than a mile from the on and off ramp for I-10. There are many pumps in front. Prices are reasonable. Ethanol free fuel is offered at a reasonable price, along with ethanol full fuel and diesel. Inside is a wide selection of snacks, beverages and so forth. Employees seem friendly enough. Easy in, out and on your way.

This RaceTrac is modern, fancy, and offers reasonably priced gasoline.When I first discovered the RaceTrac chain it was unlike any gas station I had ever visited. That was back in the 90s and the only RT I had visited was located on Gause and I-10. That place was so packed all the time that there were folks outside with headsets trying to coordinate gas purchases. Fast forward to today and the chain has blown up and become much more ballerific.This location, like most modern RaceTracs has froyo, a bunch of beer, a bunch of snacks, and a bunch of regular drinks. They also have super clean bathrooms with a separate entrance if you just want to deuce it up and then roll out. It is much more convenient to I-10 than the Gause location so if you're travelling through I'd stop here over that location.So far this review has been pretty boring and generic. What personal experience can I share that will set me apart from other reviews? Bacon Jerky. That's right ladies and gentlemen. My last visit I had been out exploring and taking photos all day and wanted a snack. I was just about to grab the hot Jack Links when I saw a package labeled bacon jerky. Hell Yes! It was pretty awesome.If you need gas, and bacon jerky, this is where you should stop.

I have been to a few RaceTrac before while traveling but I only was inside long enough to pay for gas. I did not know they had so many options for slushes and a frozen yogurt section. I walked into this RaceTrac for the first time and felt like I was in heaven. The employees are helpful and care a smile which is nice. I have to visit this place more often so I can get my slush on.

Amazing atmosphere. Clean. Friendly employees. Cant say how happy I am happy to shop at this racetrac and enjoy the employees attitudes and eagerness to help.

Hi, i would like to suggest that Race Trac should get some hand sanitizer after using the pumps . Not everyone has hand sanitizer after done with using the pumps everyone has germs and people can still get sick. Thank you !!
