Quartz Bar

the quartz bar inside of a hostel - which means its open 24/7. little side bar here, its basically a lobby with a bar and some tables and chairs. however, the crowd is awesome (for the most part). we came here 2 nights. the first night we stopped in, and the first drink was free. awesome! they like to experiment with their mixed drinks and the bar tenders are very friendly. youre basically hanging out with your friend. drinks after that are a modest 5 to 7 bucks. they have cans of local craft beer too. they play music and movies. everyone was nice. bathrooms are clean. the people staying in the hostel do come and go, but be social and make a new friend.once the manager left after 2 am, something switched in the air. 1 drunk man was hovering over me, after i asked him to leave, the guy working the bar told him to get away. then another very creepy, pushy, and drunk woman came over and bothered us. we finished our drink and left. the rest of the night was great, mind you we were here for like 3 hours.came back the 2nd night. it was dead. we grabbed a drink anyway. we were told that the previous night after we left, the drunk woman snapped and gave the managment and bar tenders major issues. she ended up damaging the place and getting kicked out. so take this place with a grain of salt. since its a hostel, youre gonna have people from all walks of life here. however, the bar tenders and manager are very professional and will gladly kick out or call the police if any funny business happens.

Small petite bar from what I can see The Brasilian band just squeezes in Everyone is happy singing drinking and dancing The Brasilian band is rocking the house Parking on the street is challenging because they are on St Charles AveGender neutral bathrooms Looks like it is usually clean But who ever the guy was that was before me seem to completely miss his aim Thank goodness there was enough toilet paper This is the exact reason why I always did prefer separate restroomsThree bartenders behind the bar and they are hustling fast.

It's located inside of the Quisby Hostel. Nice drinks in to go cups with good prices .

Shows here are always packed and fun and there's usually a food pop up or something. 2 dollar wells on happy. Hard to beat.
