Stayed here for four nights. It's set-up as a hotel and timeshare.Location is within the French Quarter, a block off Canal. So if you're looking to stay in the Quarter, it's ideal. It's also a little off from Bourbon (5 min. walk), so you're not surrounded by drunk unruly people. A few reviews suggested that it feels a little unsafe at night, but I never felt that. We had a two-bedroom suite/apartment and it was totally sufficient. The overall aesthetic felt a little dated, but I preferred to say it had character. There's central heat and air, and ceiling fans in the bedrooms. I think it is supposed to have a classic vibe, which is open to interpretation. The courtyard is pretty small, and the pool option is almost laughable, very small. We didn't go to any of their mixer events, but I appreciate that they had some. The staff was very helpful and friendly, extra kudos to Lawrence who was overly friendly and greeted us upon entry and exit. FYI, no turndown service and you will need to dispose of your trash as needed. Location: 5Staff: 5Modern amenities and room decor: 3Overall, my group had no argument with the setup, 3.5 - 4 STARS, I'll round up because our overall trip was a blast!

The rooms are all different layouts. Room 118 was my favorite because the kitchen is off the side and the living room space is more conducive to entertaining. But the bathroom is one long room and king size bed Room 317 the living space is combined with the kitchen. The bed is a queen and the sink is outside the shower/ toilet area Great staff close to everything but not the noise from Bourbon St. It is a good timeshare exchange

Week stay - Sept 1st - Sept 8Check-in at 4 p.m. and check-out at 10 a.m. (They will bill $50/h for extended checkout time.)*note. If flight is earlier/later, they graciously allow you to leave your luggage. I just called a few days in advance and asked! Check-in was easy. I showed my ID and a credit card (they placed a hold amount. Mine was $50; friends traveling with us had a $100 hold placed). I think the hold depends on the unit. The Lobby was beautiful and made you feel a little bougie!Quarter House throughout the week has some free food & drinks events! It was a Fat Thursday event- food was good!! Two different kinds of wine! After a particular time, they will allow 2nds! Very NOLA style! And a Sunday Morning breakfast- which was fruit and baked goods. Coffee, tea, and juices. There is also a Free Sunday morning guided walking tour! Sign up in advance; they limit the spots! There is a small pool in the courtyard! It was beautiful for a cool down and perfectly sized. Courtyard did allow Smoking. No smoking in any units. Unit 404! Very clean. The unit was spotless and updated with all modern appliances. The bathroom had a standup shower and felt new and updated. Enough towels were provided for a week's stay for two. Queen-size bed. (The mattress left much to be desired if you're not used to a hard mattress.) The living room area had a pull-out queen-sized couch bed. The couch was comfortable for someEvening TV watching until dinner reservations were ready, and greatly appreciated after walking the French Quarter! The unit also had two very nice-sized smart TVs. The stove worked, and the unit had cookware and a coffee pot (but Quarter House is like a few steps away from the fantastic French Truck coffee... if making coffee in the room, go to French Truck, get a bag, and drink locally made coffee- enjoy the experience! (We did learn part of the building had a major fire a few years ago, so all that area is new and brought up to fire codes.)We have a Walmart+ account- so once we arrived, we placed an order for snack items, water, coffee creamers, and ordered some White Claws.. (save on that alcohol budget as NOLA allows drinking in the streets of the French Quarter (no glass bottles) etc. to be delivered.

The place is beautiful but not the friendliest. checkout it at 10Am and we had house keepers banging and yelling to get out. if checkout is at 10 you would assume you don't leave the room till 10. we made the house keeper waiting for us as we weren't ready. she continued to mouth at us as we left. the first time we got a room they didn't tell us we had to switch rooms so again housekeeping was walking in of our room while we slept. It is not our fault as guests that we weren't told we had to leave to move rooms but they could not seem to see that. it's a a nice place but just rough staff minus some AMAZING people that work here.

Stayed here for three nights. It's set-up as a hotel and timeshare. Location is within the French Quarter, a block off Canal. So if you're looking to stay in the Quarter, it's ideal. But it's also a little off from Bourbon so you're not surrounded by people (can be a good or bad thing) and it felt a little unsafe at night. There are plenty of hotels in the area, but this one is pretty cost-effective. We had a one-bedroom suite/apartment and it was sufficient. The carpeting in particular was pretty dated - we were glad we both brought slippers. There's central heat and air, and a ceiling fan in the bedroom. It's supposed to have a classic vibe, but it just feels very old. No peephole on the door either. The courtyard was pretty small. We didn't go to any of their events, but I appreciate their efforts. Most of the staff was very helpful and friendly. No turndown service. We had to ask three times for an extra blanket to be brought up. Overall, it was very meh. Nothing outrageously terrible, but didn't feel particularly nice either.

Rooms are worn down. TV cables aren't working. Place is like a maze getting to your room and be sure to carry luggage that needs a carted when changing rooms are due tk time shares. Bell man was not adequate as my food was spoiled changing rooms mid week due to not following issues. And I have another week to go - yikes - with yet another room change!

Get rid of the mice in a humane way. We had to witness a mouse in the living room, on a sticky trap, struggling to live It -was very traumatizing for my daughters (who were crying) and I to witness.

This hotel was simply lovely. I booked a two bedroom suite for my daughter and I to celebrate her 21st birthday. An excellent decision, the suite had everything we could possibly need plus so much more. We were in awe of the layout, the decor, a true French Quarter experience, steeped in the history of the surrounding area. The staff was super friendly, the location perfection. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Booked this "hotel" for my parents. Property is dated and unkept. Bedding was old and smelled of mold. Utensils in kitchen were dirty. Their suite had NO windows and they were told most of the suites do not have windows. Can we say fire hazard? You have to cross the courtyard of smokers to access the hallway to the suites. There is no night manager so any issues have to wait until morning. I so wish I'd read these reviews before booking.YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

As an owner I love this place but changing the color scheme from Burgundy and Hunter Green to beige have ruined it for me. It is terrible. I am so disappointed. I wish they would have consulted with the owners. And I have a penthouse for over 25 years.
