Pretty upset with QPC, drove in from Venice for a quick 10 minute puppy checkup. Filled a vacant spot for QPC and was turned away after leaving work, picking puppy up, and Vet stated they had to eat lunch! Bad experience, was upset with response on not being seen, so I collected puppy's file and will seek better attention from a qualified Vet, in the event of an emergency. Thanks QPC, see ya!

Quality Pet Care provided the best care and treatment that our elderly German Shepherd had ever received. Dr. Jenny (sp?) and Dr. Blakely were wonderful and so kind as we went through several treatments and finally end of life care and euthanasia. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Their team never tries to upsell you on anything.

Right around Christmas, my poor pup started going downhill fast. We had an eye exam scheduled for him that I called to have rescheduled for the next day since he was not feeling well. The day of the eye exam, I talked to Dr. Blakeley regarding his status, and made the decision to put him down due to his age and very poor quality of life. This review is not based on the experience I had with Dr. Blakeley, it is based on Dr. Diane, the owner's, decision to charge me for a "late cancellation". I never cancelled an appointment, simply rescheduled because my dog was not doing well. We came to the appointment the following day. When I requested to reschedule the staff told me that would be fine. There was never a mention of a fee. When I put my dog to sleep, I was given a non-itemized receipt to sign. It was not until after the payment was made that I was given an itemized receipt with the charge for a "cancel" fee. Hoping this was a mistake, I requested a refund for this charge, or at least a credit to use at their facility for another pet. The answer from the owner was no. I find it heartless that Dr. Diane believes it acceptable to charge a client for a false cancel fee and euthanasia at the same time. Have a heart, losing a pet is hard enough. Is an extra petty $15 really worth it? Does that make you feel good and sleep better at night? I surely hope so, because this made me sick to my stomach. Do yourself a favor and choose a vet that has compassion for both you and your loved pet.

Truly disappointed by them canceling my pets care for me not agreeing with their no show policy! Yes, you read that correctly. We are a military family and Quality pet care came highly recommended, they were amazing with our dog. However, I called to schedule an appt on 11/4/2021 because my dog had severe diarrhea and vomiting. To be told yes you can schedule an appointment no problem by one employee and noWhere was it mentioned that there was a fee for a cancellation, after being on hold for sometime only for another employee to get on the phone to state. If you cancel your appt the next morning. We will charge you a no show fee. In my opinion this should be on a case by case basis! If you have a patient who is receiving great care and one going care, why would you charge them a no show fee? Well I voiced my opinion and my disagreement with this. Well today, 11/8/2021 I received a cancellation of care letter stating that our dog will not longer be a patient at Quality pet care with not explanation nor any concern for valued patients! If this is how Quality pet care does business I don't want my dog to be seen by any of their veterinarians! How petty can you all be as to cancel care for a dog that would happily continue care with you even though their owner didn't agree with your policy! However, now after your petty cancellation of care. I am happy to be looking for a different vet that will take my concerns whether it be over a policy or my pets care into consideration! Apparently your business has never received constructive criticism and learned and moved forward from it!

I had recently moved back from college and was looking for a new vet for my dog. I initially chose this place because it's close to my home and the reviews here sounded good. I can say that I do love this place and would recommend them to anyone. I've come here for my dog's nail trimmings and exams for his heartworm medication for the most part of the last six months but this week, I brought him in to get neutered. Prior to his drop off appointment, my dog had gotten into chocolate and thrown up a lot and he also got hurt at some point while I was at work. They told me that they didn't feel comfortable operating on him since he was already hurt but that they wanted to keep him for the day to examine him. Turned out that my little guy had a fever and something called intervertebral disk disease. They called me multiple times throughout the day while I was at work to keep me updated, they stayed a little after their closing hours to accommodate me getting there after work to pick him up, and they called me the next day after I took my dog home to check in and see how he was doing. They consistently welcome me when I come in the door and make sure that my dog's needs are handled to the best of their ability. I'm honestly just thankful that they care about my dog and other pets so well and I'm comfortable leaving my buddy in their hands. Definitely recommend.

I had to switch vets recently because as nice as my other vet was, they just couldn't get a handle on my older cat's intestinal issues. I have a 12 year old cat that suffers from digestive issues and after a lot of trial and error that resulted in no real change, I decided to switch vets.I took my cat over to Quality Pet Care and they immediately diagnosed the issue and prescribed a special food and a daily medicine. Ever since starting this regime, my cat has been noticeably feeling better and has been gaining weight. I was so relieved because I was getting to a point of desperation and didn't know what else I could do.The staff here is friendly and helpful and the doctors are great. Prices are pretty much "on par" with what I've been paying at other vets and they are happy to do any follow ups that your pet might need.

Called in the morning and they were able to see us within the hour. I wasn't sure what was wrong with my 14 year old Shih Tzu. He just kept shaking and would Yelp or let out a yell if I picked him up. I forgot to bring my dogs medical record but they kindly called previous vet to get record of his last visit and results. They all were very kind and compassionate. I highly recommend this clinic!

I wanted to thank and recommend Quality Pet Care. I've used their vet care services for my pets since they opened over five years ago. I've been impressed with their safety measures during the COVID pandemic for both me and their staff. Because my dogs are older, I've been there for multiple issues from annuals to eye issues to belly aches. Earlier this year I was diagnosed with breast cancer and required surgery and had a lift restriction (my home is raised and one cannot go up and down the stairs unassisted) that necessitated that I board my dogs for 4 weeks as I needed help and personally needed to heal. My dogs were 14 and 15 years old and I did not trust anyone else but a vet with them due to their age and health as one had doggie dementia and was quite a handful. They, of course, cared for my dogs as if they were their own. This week, unfortunately, it was time to say goodbye to my nearly 16 year old dog, Sweet Pea. Dr Blakely Ramirez and the team helped to make her passage easier and helped me with the process. Through the years, she has seen every doctor there starting with the owner Dr Diane Dubois. The care and support my dogs and I have received is incredible. I'm grateful we have a female owned business like this in Gretna. I am wholeheartedly supportive of this business and wanted to share my experience with this page.
