Puppy Love Daycare

Recently started doing a 6 week training class though Puppy Love at Jefferson Feed! Very impressive! Angela is such a passionate and knowledgeable trainer. Every week we can see the progress we are making with our dog. She's highly skilled and able to give individual attention to everyone in the class. I highly recommended it to everyone. You won't regret learning your training skills from Angela!

Puppy Love is the ONLY place I trust with my fur babies!! Daycare is great! They play all day, get socialized with other pups, and have all different add-ons for your pets! Frosty paws ice cream snack, grooming, quiet nap time! And the best part is you can watch your fur baby on the Puppy Love web cams! It is a great experience for pets and parents too!!

I have 2 very energetic German Shepherd dogs and they both looked so happy when I picked them up from doggie daycare. I can tell they had a great time because they both ate worked up a big appetite and than collapsed into their doggie beds! The staff was very friendly & helpful. So glad I found this place! This is the best daycare I have used for my two small dogs! They have a pet taxi which is super helpful for parents who have to be at work earlier than 7 and get off past closing time. They pick up and drop off my pups safely. My dogs love it. They even feed them the breakfast I provide in the morning since I have to leave so early (before 630am). They have plenty of outdoor space for the pups to play. The facility is clean as well. Angela (the owner) is so easy to get in touch with and she cares so much about the dogs and being flexible with the parents schedule. Recommend it to anyone!

I am going to be in town next week for a friends surgery and since I have no-one to watch my beloved canine I searched Yelp for boarders near East Jefferson Hospt I came across Puppylove. After a little reasearch I e-mailed this establishment for their status on taking in my hound.I e-mailed them yesterday and still have not heard back from them. After getting no return mail I called and received a voice message telling me the best way to contact was to e-mail!I understand that they may be very busy but at least have the common courtesy to contact me back.

If my dog could leave a review, I'm pretty sure she'd say that Puppy Love is awesome!!! I feel confident leaving her at Puppy Love knowing that she'll receive all the care she needs for boarding or daycare. When I do board her, I feel good knowing that she won't be cooped up in a kennel the whole time and will get to spend all day socializing with other dogs. If you have a high energy dog like I do, you'll be happy that they come home ready to rest after a long day of fun at Puppy Love. :)

I have been going to Puppylove Daycare for probably almost a year now. I got a puppy a year and a half ago and as a first time puppy parent I was super hesitant and nervous about leaving her somewhere for a day, but I really wanted to socialize her and get her out of her kennel while I was at work. Ms. Angela and Marleigh answered my MANY questions regarding their services, etc. and were extremely friendly and helpful. Even after the first few days my puppy went to daycare they updated me on how she was doing/adjusting. At first my dog was nervous, didn't want to go, now when I bring her she runs in so fast the leash flies off my hand! She loves everyone and the staff is really amazing. They truly care about your baby and are very communicative! If you are researching places to take your pup, seriously look no further. They are awesome and your dog will love you and be so pooped at the end of the day! Really nice people.

The woman who runs this place is an experienced dog trainer who also does a lot to help with animal rescue in New Orleans. We've gotten training from her, and she is the only person we leave our dog with when we go out of town. Her rates are reasonable and we never worry about the dog when he is at Puppy Love because we know that he is getting lots of time out of his cage and lots of attention. When we get a bath for him, he smells great for weeks (he is a stinky guy). Employees are knowledgeable and quality of care is great.

I was a customer of Puppylove for over 10 years with my multiple dogs attending weekly for daycare. I've never had any issues until Monday 4/10/23. My daschund (3years old) was attacked & killed by 2 dogs while in the play yard. Being a holiday, the 2 attacking dogs were boarders. I'm giving 1 star only because the owner has promised to make changes so that this never happens again. My point in posting this is to alert anyone considering boarding or daycare for their pet please do your research & make sure that there is adequate staffing & supervision for the animals & policies in place to prevent/ minimize incidents like this. It won't bring Finn back but if I can prevent this happening again, it will be a small measure of closure.

We love puppy love. They allow the dogs to play more than anywhere else. The dogs aren't locked in cages all day, free to roam and are allowed to go inside and outside. The cameras are very cool to watch as well. We have always had positive experiences with puppy love. Highly recommend.
