Prohibition Bar

"How about a night cap?" someone in my group asked. And walked in here since it was a mere two feet away. (Insert chuckle here.) Whoa, it's one of those places that's deceiving in appearance! Looks small on the outside but plenty of room on the inside! Matter of fact, there was a small event happening when we got there (but nothing big enough to shut it down to the public.) Ordered a hurricane to enjoy as I listen to the live music for entertainment. It was pretty mellow, so it was a good change from the loud (and some dissonant) sounds we just experienced walking through Bourbon. So it was a good place to end our Bourbon Street pub/bar crawl before going back to the hotel for some much needed rest...... (but the truth is we had a couple more nightcaps at a couple more places before we actually went back. Tee-hee!!!) Hey, it's NOLA. It's Bourbon Street! It's allowed! But yeah, good first run here. Would recommend!

We had a great time and went back a 2nd night. The band that was playing was fantastic. They focused on 80s and 90s music and played many different genres. The drinks were strong and the servers were friendly. 10/10 experience.

Stopped by twice while touring the French Quarter!!!Huge Ass Beers!!! Great Vibe!!! Service was awesome!!! Great DJ!!!

Live music, big ass beers (or half ass), mixed drinks. Bartender served us fast and was friendly. Wish I knew they had a rooftop bar when we went here. Next time....

Came here to with my little sis to enjoy a night out on bourbon street and while we initially came in to escape the rain we stayed for the party. The DJ had the place jumping and it was a vibe. There were multiple bachelor and bachelorette parties there enjoy themselves and providing some people watching entertainment lol. They also offer some HUGE ASS BEERS of various sizes. The Danny Alexander Blues Band was playing as we walked by - so very happy we stopped. Amazing music, danced the whole time we were there, just couldn't keep still. And 2 beers for $11 - such a deal! Very friendly staff. Will be back

Great service , great music , great staff 10/10Recommended to have a great time ! If you're looking for an amazing scene of bourbon street they have a balcony stage with an amazing setup as well! Hospitality here was amazing!

AWFUL SECURTIY!! Discriminatory and were trying to kick us out for simply being on the street in front of the bar. Was with a group of 4 people who weren't even trying to enter the establishment and was assaulted by all 4 of the security personnel to leave. My friend was shoved and hit in the face!! Attacked for standing in Bourbon Street!! Had to call the police to deescalate the situation. Beautiful venue but the staff are awful, rude, and aggressive regardless of the circumstances.

Great vibe, great service, great live music and huge ass beers!!! Highly recommend to check it out!
