We were referred to Dwayne & Prime Transit by very dear friends of ours. This was my mom's first time to NOLA and on her bucket list. Dwayne was able from the minute he picked us up at the airport to the moment he dropped us off, cultivate experiences for me, my mom and my husband that really gave us the total New Orleans experience! His vehicles are super comfortable, clean, thoughtful with phone charges, wifi and water. Most importantly he made us feel like a family member of his he was just showing around town. I highly recommend Dwayne Clipps for any car service in NOLA or the surrounding area. I phoned frantic from the airport in need for a last minute ride to Houma at 11:20pm. We took a 5 hour private tour with Dwayne and it was the highlight of our trip! I highly recommend him if you want to learn about the city. There's no better way to see as much as you can than a private tour and he was so personable even through the chaos of our large family.

Found this company as soon as we landed in NOLA. There were 7 of us. They picked us up on time in a beautifully cleaned SUV that comfortably fit all of us. We got a great tour and a great recommendation for lunch. Dwayne was great to deal with. A true gentleman! I highly recommend this company!

I'm a planner who ask lots of questions when I'm making any purchases. In March I asked a friend to contact a transportation company to accommodate our party of now 15 but was 8 at the time for transfers from airport in NOLA for my milestone birthday weekend in July. When she forwarded me the info I was very pleased she found a 5 star Black owned business. I took over from there contacted Dwayne via the same email she and he began. After a few exchanges of emails and paying half my deposit, I decided to call Dwayne to talk with him about pricing if I were to just rent the bus for more time opposed to paying for pick up and drop off only or to possibly change to pick up and drop of to my dinner instead of the airport. He was very professional and told me he can only do pick up and drop offs, the bus was not available for more time. He let me know he was driving and asked me to email back my new request. I agreed. I had time to review options because it was March. I decided that it would be more beneficial to utilize the bus for my whole group of 15 to get transferred to and from the restaurant. I sent him a whole new email request with my birthday dinner restuarant information. The cost was a little more than expected and we negotiated a price I agreed on. On April 24th I was overly excited to have had the great customer service I read about. I agreed and thanked Dwayne. Next day I recieved a call from a friend whom I traveled with to NOLA earlier that year who said she found the number to the cab we used. I told her no thanks I have a bus for the group and was very happy. I decided to ask Dwayne one more question on April 25th. I'm detailed in my communication and mentioned in my question the cab guy pricing and asked Dwayne what was his per person cost for the bus. I didn't think anything of it and hadn't checked my email after that. I checked my overloaded emails, read most recent email from Dwayne saying call him. I couldn't at that moment and forgot. Now, it's June 1st a month away from my Birthday traveling event. I wanted to confirm all of my planning to ensure smooth travel and fun. I sent Dwayne a confirmation email apologizing for my delay and wanted to know where the other invoice was for me to complete payment. He replied back for me to refer to his email on April 25th, so I did. I find out I was Canceled! I immediately called him for understanding of why. He pretty much told me he decided to cancel because of my email question after we had already agreed. This was very heartbreaking! I now have to find last minute transportation after planning four months in advance. Not to mention he stated he was sending my refund in the mail but he didn't have my address and never called me. If I hadn't contacted him on June 1st to confirm and pay he wouldn't have I suppose. I feel he was offended by my character and questions as a consumer and canceled because of that. I do understand his right to cancel but the fact that I'm now left with nothing for my event with very little time, resources, and money is not right! You be the judge!

We went on a "Kiss Kruise" and planned to spend the day after departing from the New Orleans Port. The only thing was, we were concerned about having to store our luggage somewhere. We headed to the airport to store it for the day. Luckily enough we were able to check our luggage in early. Usually this is not a normal exception. It was our first visit to NOLA and haven't seen much of the city. We had a 5-6 hours to kill prior to our flight and didn't know quite what to do. A one-way Uber from the airport to Burbon Street was going to cost approximately $36. I jumped on google and searched for activities to do and found Dwayne on TripAdvisor. His company offers private chauffeured tours with many location/ tourist attraction options to offer. He mentioned that he was already on his way to the airport dropping off previous visitors. We only waited about 15 minutes until he arrived and he called us right away. He met us outside with a large black SUV with plenty of room. It could comfortably fit about 7 adult passengers and plenty trunk room to store luggage if needed. He can accommodate larger parties with his other company vehicles, if necessary. There was wifi, phone charges available within the vehicle and adjustable AC. It was stocked with some items: hand sanitizer, local magazines & snacks. Mr. Clipps was super friendly, reliable, punctual, professional, reasonably priced, and resourceful. He had many great suggestions for food, things to do, sites to see and historical attractions. He was a great tour guide, he had many tips and advice on great places to get some good seafood, drinks or local favorites. He gave us a tour of the Make It Right foundation (the areas and neighborhood that survived Hurricane Katrina and briefed us on the historical impact caused by the devastation. He also showed us photos on his iPad and visited the ruins that are now being partially restored. He then took us down to Burbon Street, French Quarters and even took us to the original famous Cafe Du Monde for fresh Beignets (french donuts with powdered sugar!). He took us around, paid for metered parking and waited patiently for us as he allowed us to walk around on Burbon and Canal street. He offered to take many great photos of us along the way. He took us to the oldest Bar in America (Lafitte's Blacksmith Shop Bar). Mr. Clipps knew a lot about the areas and history of NOLA. He took us to Garden District with historic houses, where he showed us some of the nation's oldest, still-standing examples of original French, Spanish and American architecture. There were shops along Burbon with eats, drinking, voodoo gadgets, costume / mardi gras accessories, souvenirs and much more misc shopping malls on Canal. On the way back to the airport, he us drove by the famous Odd Fellows Rest Cemetery to glance at. I would highly recommend his services to anyone looking for a safe and private and comfortable tour, whether it is for 2 or 4 hours, he can make a personalized itinerary based on your needs or interests, just tell him what you're interested in. Mr. Clipps and his services were EXACTLY what we needed and EXACTLY what we were looking for and he was a genuine, family orientated gentleman with great hospitality! He really made our short n' sweet trip a very smooth and memorable experience!

I booked this airport transport for my parents, during their trip to NOLA. I communicated with Dwayne previous to their arrival and explained the situation. Dwayne met my parents at the airport and waited since their flight was delayed by 30 min. My parents mentioned that Dwayne was very respectful and treated them as if they were VIP's. Dwayne sent me text messages every step of the way providing the status of my parent's transport both from and then back to the airport. His customer service is exemplary. More than that, you can sense that Dwayne is a caring person. I highly recommend Prime Transit when you need some transport in NOLA. Absolutely the best!! it has taken me far too long to write this review formally--, but i have been singing Dwayne's praises ever since our family's return from New Orleans and have recommended him to other friends, who were equally impressed with this company's professionalism and knowledge. Dwayne skillfully handled 3 generations and entertained us over 3 days, Dwayne made us feel like family, as he expertly exposed us to the local New Orleans experience , as we enjoyed the cleanest and most comfortable vehicle ( already commented on by others) driven by Dwayne, a warm, knowledgeable, and caring professional. We highly recommend this company.
