How this place does not have 5 stars on here baffles me. Peter's is absolutely amazing nestled into the Loews Hotel in NOLA this place is a hidden gem. Th middle of the bar has a beautiful ice sculpture for decoration. All bartenders we encountered here were amazing but especially Hannah and Sue. These two make you feel right at home. I visited daily with friends to gather on our trip and even though I don't drink, I always felt welcomed. The last day we were on a hunt when all restaurants were on a wait we were able to walk right in. I had the salad and Vegan Pasta and it did not disappoint. Salad was much larger than I thought and the dressing was drinkable. The pasta was the most flavorful I tasted in NOLA. Loaded with mixed mushrooms, tomatoes and spinach. Definitely had leftovers. My friend had a sandwich and said it was her best meal there as well. Mom opted for dessert for dinner. Wish they stated on menu all the cream was on it because she can't have cream we picked it off. Overall about sleep on this place located in a hotel for a top tier bite to eat.

My husband and I wanted to watch the Nuggets game while we had dinner so we opted for this place because it's in the hotel where we are staying. We sat at a table in the bar and ordered a couple of cocktails. I ordered what is a "lemon kiss" on the menu but when the server brought it out she said "here is your Grey Goose lemon drop" and since it took a while to get served I just drank it and it was delicious but I wanted to try the vodkas I read about in the lemon kiss. Maybe next time!We ordered a simple Caesar salad from the bar bites menu and it was much larger than I expected for the price. It was fresh and the lettuce crispy and the Parmesan shavings tasty. The dressing came on the side which I appreciated! I also got the appetizer crab cake which was absolutely divine! Mostly crab, crunchy bits on the top and the sauce was a perfect pairing with the crab. My husband got the black drum and it was also fabulous!! They really know what they are doing with fish! It was flaky and piping hot and moist and perfectly seasoned. Just a flavor celebration in every bite of both of the dishes! The servers who brought out the food were super friendly and offered empathy as we watched our dear Nuggets come undone. We had to go get the server to let her know we wanted to take a glass of wine up to our room as by then the bar was quite busy. While there was a lot of waiting, I would definitely go back for the food and the friendly service. I just wouldn't know it's going to take time. The bar televisions are muted which makes the atmosphere less bar like yet you can still watch the games. It got a bit nosier the later we were there but not overly so.

After a couple nights here, heading out with a Bagel and Lox breakfast.. the bartenders were great in the evenings, and the breakfast buffet was excellent as well!

I've been to Poydras and Peters since and each time it was so delicious. I have the chicken and sausage Gumbo TWICE to say I'm a seafood Gumbo girl that chicken and sausage was amazing. I also loved the Quail and crab cake dish. I only wish the cake cake was bigger or came with 2 for the price. Other then the delicious food the service is top notch and very attentive and the ambiance is very warm and elegant since the restaurant resides inside of the Loews Hotel. My Favorites off the menu: Chicken and Sausage Gumbo Pan Seared Crab Cake NOLA BBQ Shrimp Baked Half Quail Classic New Orleans Beignets

Great drinks and really good appetizers. Nice, cool atmosphere too. They were out of their December special drinks. The staff were very friendly too. Otherwise, I'll be back next time!

A hidden gem within the lobby of Loew's and down the street from all of the Bourbon/Canal Street commotion. Out of our two nights here, the restaurant was never busy over the weekend for any meal. The ambience is classic with a live pianist. Service is great with two servers at the bar with only a few customers at a time. The food was served quickly and the quality is top-notch as expected with any high-end hotel restaurant. Prices are very friendly for its high quality attribution.

Honestly speaking, I want to highlight the BAR area in this review. The hotel itself needs a bit of TLC. In comparison to other Loews in other states like Arlington TX, the New Orleans location needs to do a deep cleaning and updating of its property. Nice location but lacking in the confit feeling it could give. I actually had to do a bit of cleaning before I felt comfortable enough to relax. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Now the bar, this is actually an excellent place for bar drinking outside of the regular dive bars and tourist traps in the quarter. The drinks are well made and strong. But not I'm drunk strong for no reason. Our Highlighted bartender KEKE is friendly, knows what she's doing when mixing a cocktail, and even willing to go off 5he menu to please the customer. Her personality is infectious. She made an excellent Cosmo and her Strawberry Lemon-drop is delicious. I wish more people were aware of this little gem at Loews, even if you're not staying at the hotel. It's worth the visit. Give it a go and at least try it on your next visit. You won't be disappointed. "Hey KEKE, do you love me" - Drake ()Btw: Try the Non-traditional Gumbo and the Steak Burger!

Located in the Loews Hotel next to the French Quarter, this is a great place to come for a relaxing breakfast buffet. There's a very wide selection of everything you desire in a buffet for breakfast. Everything was very good, the bacon was extremely tasty and cooked nicely, excellent grits, and perfect scrambled eggs. And there is a large selection of exceptional fresh fruit. They even had Andouille sausage! The employees we had contact with, Maggie and Ken, were extremely friendly and provided great service. The price was very reasonable especially considering that it's in the middle of a tourist area.Anytime we are in New Orleans we're going to make sure we partake in this great meal again!

I'm a resident in the CBD area. I run most mornings and the valet attendants are always kind. I also have worked a couple of events at the hotel. I always try to show love to companies that show love to me. After a celebratory dinner, I decided to enjoy a cocktail at the bar. The bar tender wasn't very welcoming but I know we all have our bad days so I didn't think much of our first impression. It didn't end there. She was rude and continued to be unwelcoming. As a business owner and a former waitress in the hospitality industry, it was a complete turn off. I closed out and tipped accordingly but I will not return.

Loved the ambiance and great service. The pepperoni and bacon flatbread was delicious, as was the salmon entree and crab cake. A hidden gem for sure!
