Love posh clay. I have learned so much and had a blast making interesting pottery. Have also met some amazing people along the way.

Expensive, but what pottery class isn't? My gripe with this place is how hands-off the learning experience is. My mom and I took 2 months worth of classes (each Weds evening for 8 weeks) but learned very little. We were fortunate enough to be the ONLY clients the very first night we started, so we had basically a 1:1 lesson on throwing clay on a wheel for one lesson. Every class after that, we were basically on our own. There was no guidance unless we asked for help from the one instructor on duty who was responsible for helping 6+ people at a time who were at different skill levels. I feel like we wasted our time and money because we didn't get an opportunity to hone/build on our skills from anyone who had the time/attention to teach us each class. I really like the idea of making pottery and admire the pieces that some of the clients with obvious natural skill made, but I would choose a different studio next time for sure.
