I recently met Patrick Bode and received a half dozen box of Pirogue Pralines to taste. I was a little skeptical because so many people in New Orleans think they make great pralines and the thought of alternative flavors felt unnatural when you've only grown up with one. I have to say, these are the BEST pralines I've ever tasted and the choice of flavors was creative, innovative, subtle and spectacular. The white chocolate macadamia flavor was my favorite. The consistency and sweetness level were perfect. This is a recipe that needs no greater glorification. They are amazing! I will be ordering them for my closest friends this Christmas.

You may think you've tasted pralines before, but not until you try these! They are truly amazing. Sure they have an original flavor, but there are so many more to try! Can you say Creme Brulee? How about White Chocolate macadamia? Now a King Cake flavor too! I'm obsessed.
