Pirate's Pizzeria

Brought the fam to try Houma's newest Pizza restaurant. Parking is either on the street or there is a public parking lot a short walk away. The restaurant was much bigger than I anticipated and the place was overall cool. The service was good and everything we ordered came out in a timely manner. We ordered the 12" cheese-sticks as an appetizer. They were tasty and the marinade sauce was delicious. Our 3 pizzas were hot and also tasty. The pizza crust a bit bland but it wasn't bad. Toppings were good and the portions were adequate. Overall, our visit was good and we would probably visit it again.

Parking was typical parking for downtown. Friendly staff. Restaurant was clean. Music had good vibe. A little bit of a struggle to get the special order right. And a little bit of a wait to get regular pizza. Management discounted order with no hesitation. Cheese bread & pizza was good. I didn't mention while I was there, I had a glass of water, I drank half of it. A strange aftertaste. The plates that were given had small smudges of something greasy. Wiped them with napkins. Which is when I left my glass of water alone. Was the glass not cleaned good? Tap water? Non filtered ice? I'll try to remember to ask the next visit before I order water. The soft drinks tasted fine. Overall this place in downtown Houma deserves a return visit.
