It's kinda cool. Some vendors with hand made things, art and knick-knacks, and such. Hats, clothes, general open market stuff. They had a trio providing entertainment. Food vendors. I got a fried catfish, some mac and cheese, and a sweet potato pie. The catfish batter was super salty. The mac and cheese used some thick shells instead of macaroni (The mac in mac and cheese)!!! The cheese was bland. Bad food day. It was kind of hot and rainy, so we only stayed long enough to see all the vendors and eat.

I happened to just stumble into this cute art market on a Saturday afternoon. This outdoor market covers a lot of bases and sells everything from homemade arts and crafts to clothing and other household items. I liked the way the market is organized and it flows well, however I would have spent more time in the "indoor" area if they had had a fan going- it was sweltering in there. They also have a selection of well priced food and drinks, if you want to pass by and grab something for lunch. The vendors were very friendly and were happy to tell me all about their crafts and everything seemed to be priced fairly.

The Piety Street Market is awesome! On the larger side for an art market, there is plenty of space for local vendors and artists to show off their stuff! There is also a great selection of unique snacks and beverages of all sorts. The market is half inside and half outside. You also get to listen to live music while you shop. Pets are welcome!
