Right next to Barnes & Noble, we popped into PHINA for a few gifts for our daughter's best friend. They have all sorts of gifts from candles to gifts for men. Staff are helpful and even offer gift wrapping.

I was really impressed by this cute little shop, located right next to Barnes and Noble! They have such great, creative, unique tidbits and gifts that I wouldn't anticipate finding in many other shops. If you can't find something for someone in here, then they really are a tough one to find a gift for. Stop by here, support a local small business, and find a few laughs!

This is the second time I've visited here and felt as if I've been slighted for whatever reason. The price stated mark down and when the worker asked how mush the manager said it was already discounted. When asked what was the original price I was only told 40% more... definitely didn't appreciate the whisper of leaving it as priced while I was in the back of the store. Last time. Receipt did not indicate a deduction in price. Hmmm... I only posted a star to be able to share this comment.

Such a 5 star boutique! They have the cutest clothes in here. I just love the local saints and fleur de lis products. Also really cute kiddie area to play in location on vets. The housewares are also something incredible...GREAT PRICES. The customer service is very on point. My kids love the kids swag! Toys, clothes and other kiddie stuff.

Oh look! There's another store with the same name on Vets. OK. Lots of the same fun stuff as the Magazine store but with 2x the space.They did not have any clay bingles. (I was just checking. I only need one. Research is important.) But they did have a lot more kids stuff, including adorable king cake pjs which I want in grown person sizes. And some clothes, not just tshirts, and more purses.The staff was helpful and the store is well laid out. Watch out for the crazy parkers in this lot with Barnes & Noble and Applebees all using the same lot.

My go-to gift shopping destination for everyone (including myself). 5 star gifts, 5 star service, and 5 stars for being local. Shop here for a gift for anyone on your list, have it wrapped, sneak in something for yourself, and you're good to go. (Insider tip toward the bottom) ***They also have a location on Metairie Rd. that is more convenient for me, but no Yelp page for that newer location yet. That said, I love both locations equally. They both have easy in/out parking situations, rotating inventory, and helpful staff. While most people probably think this to be a store for women, I have definitely found gifts here for men (that bar ware selection is impressive and the themed socks are winners every time!). Their selection for children is full of books, toys, and clothes - so great for any occasion. Over the years I've stopped in for gifts for grads, congratulations, baby showers, children's birthdays, colleague & client birthdays / thank yous, family birthday / celebration / anniversary, all things holiday, all things Mardi Gras, and weddings. INSIDER TIP: Yes, they have very expensive items, but they also have gifts starting at $5. Stop at the counter, let them know your price point, who you're shopping for, etc., and they'll walk you around the store giving you ideas. They are GREAT for ideas. They know their selection, and they're super helpful. They even wrap gifts by request. One-stop-gift shopping at it's best! When they first opened years ago I heard about them from a coworker. I stopped in for a gift for a 1st birthday (which was a huge hit), and I was pleasantly surprised by their selection for wedding, kitchen, kids, bar ware, serving ware, clothing accessories and jewelry. Now, years later, they've only added to the amazing selection with one-of-a-kind local accessories (Saints, LSU, Mardi Gras, Snowball, etc), purses, suitcases, ornaments, art, socks, ties, and even more in the categories they started out with... the list really does go on and on with something for everyone. My gifts are always well received, and people always want to know "where did you find this?" It's taken me so long to write a review because it's hard to give away my secrets, ha! Seriously, though, I tell everyone to shop here. They even have an online store for added convenience. Love seeing how well they've grown and looking forward to shopping here for years to come!

Always amazing! Love to support local and this is one of my favorite places to do it! They also made my life 20x easier today when I called in for a curbside pickup on two very important gifts. Thanks for all that you do!

So much cramped into a very small space. You end up bumping into people and items for sale. Otherwise great concept!
