Enjoyed the atmosphere and vibe. Fun place. Lively. Food ranked from good to very good. 5 = crawfish croquettes. Great!!!And Baked drum. 4 = Fried bread; ground shrimp (which was interesting); and sticky toffee pudding 3= Steak tartar 3.5Several reasonable wine choices. Liked the attitude of our servers. 5 stars is probably too much. But 4 stars is too little. 4.4 is about right.

Upon arrival we were greeted by the host and even though we arrived early they were able to seat us. The restaurant is larger than it looks from the outside, and has beautiful exposed beams, with a great rustic aesthetic. Our waitress greeted us and introduced us to another waitress as well. They seem to have two people to a table. She reviewed the menu for food, drinks and specials. We decide to start with some appetizers and ordered a half dozen of the oysters and the seafood salad. The oysters were big and briny and a favorite for my fiancé. The seafood salad had tuna, shrimp, jalapeño and avocado served with some crackers. Both were fresh and great starters. For our main course we ordered the Grilled Tuna and the Drum plate. Both dishes were amazing! The Baked Drum dish was flavorful and the chef was creative to make the sweet potato mash into sesame balls, adding a unique twist to the dish and it was just the right amount of flavor and texture. The Grilled Tuna was cooked perfectly, and the crunchy rice that came with it also had a great texture that added to the dish. We also ordered the roasted beet salad. We truly did over order, but this dish was also amazing. Roasted beets with sliced almonds. What I appreciated was the chef allowed the beets to stand out and not be over powered by any type of dressing. For dessert, we couldn't decide, so we ordered the carrot cake and key lime pie. Both were exceptional. The key lime pie was not too sweet or tart, and also not heavy. It was perfect! The carrot cake was as our waitress mentioned if carrot cake and bread pudding were mixed together. It was moist and paired with the cream cheese ice cream, and simply delicious. Positives:- Being able to make a reservation on their website helped as we are from out of town and really needed to plan ahead. - The food is what makes the restaurant stand out. The quality, flavor, and play with textures is exceptional. Slight Delta:- Despite having two waitresses, we had to ask for our drinks twice and for a refill of our waters. All the wait staff would congregate at the hostess podium or on the side of the bar. Otherwise I would have given this spot five stars. For anyone visiting and looking for a restaurant with freshness and quality then look no further.

The food, ambience, service was 10/10They recommended the perfect amount to order as well as honest popular plates! The ceviche was incredible, at first we thought we needed chips or something to eat it with but after the first bite, it's all you needed. The raw and fried oysters were incredible. The collar is on the specials and hardly have it, it's a must order. It's somewhat messy to eat but completely worth it.You should 100% make a reservation

When it comes to seafood, Pêche is a go-to destination in New Orleans. It showcases a variety of Gulf seafood, cooked over an open hearth. Chef Nicole Cabrera Mills, who was named Food & Wine's best new chef in 2024, combines Cajun favorites with the flavors of her native Philippines.Previously, Pêche received the 2014 James Beard Award for Best New Restaurant, with Chef Ryan Prewitt also receiving Best Chef in the South that same year. Our meal consisted of:* Steak Tartare with Oyster Aioli* Spicy Ground Shrimp and Noodles* Jumbo Shrimp (with greens, coconut and sticky rice)* Baked Drum (with leeks, soy, sesame and sweet potato)* Crispy Broccoli (with pimento aioli)* Roasted Beets (with almonds and pickled mustard seeds)* Carrot Toffee Pudding (with cream cheese ice cream and candied pecan) The food was incredible. Our server at Lilette told us we must order the shrimp and noodles and her recommendation was spot-on. The tartare, drum and broccoli were all standouts. We'd go back and order everything again. The ambiance at Pêche reflects a rustic-industrial look that pays homage to the historic Warehouse District. The downside to this is the restaurant is insanely noisy.

The most refreshing raw oysters I have ever enjoyed were here. I had to refrain myself from eating all the oysters on a shared plate for seven people!!It was one of those moments that you spend time with your friends and family and the food is very good but not necessarily paying attention to the food. All I remember was that everything we ordered tasted so good and every bite was blissfully delightful no matter what it was and everyone's plate was clean!! Also, it was the favorite restaurant of our friends who live there now so feel free to just point anything on the menu with your eyes closed and whatever you decided to eat there will make your taste buds and belly happy!!

The Mrs. and I had lunch today at Pêche. We arrived shortly after noon and were seated right away. Pêche was a nice break from the madness of the French Quarter. David, our amazing waiter, arrived to take our order. We started things off with a Margarita which was really good. We took some time to review the menu and came up with a few choices. We then ran them by David who proceeded to give us other options. The first dish he suggested was from the daily special menu. It was the Red Snapper Ceviche which he suggested we have with the fried bread with sea salt. The bread was actually bread balls. They reminded me of hush puppies. The flavor of the ceviche was incredible. We cut the bread balls in half and topped each with some of the ceviche. Doing so just enhanced the flavor. The other dish David suggested was the Steak Tartare with Oyster Aioli which was the star of the meal. The Mrs. and I have had Steak Tartare at a lot of places but I'm going to be thinking about this one for years. The tartare was spread on top of a piece of beautifully toast bread that was perfectly seasoned. It was smoky and somewhat sweet. It was so good we almost ordered a second one. For dessert we ordered the Carrot Toffee Pudding. I'm not a fan of carrots but when I took a bit of the toffee pudding I was thinking, "What carrot?". I couldn't taste it which was fine with me because it was great.

I absolutely loved this restaurant. It was my first dinner on my first day of my first trip to NOLA. The restaurant has a very classy artsy vibe with both bar and dining room seating. The hosts and table servers were very warm and friendly. And there was generally a good vibe all around. The seafood gumbo was very rich and flavorful. The whole grilled red fish with pesto was amazing - it wasn't fishy at all and the skin was so good. The chicken was very juicy and flavorful. I wasn't feeling the brown rice risotto. It was too salty but the greens were good. For dessert I HIGHLY recommend the carrot toffee sticky pudding with vanilla ice cream. It was incredible. The key lime pie was also a hit. Overall, Peche is an excellent place. this would be a restaurant I would definitely return to if I'm ever back.

3.5 for food, 2 for service. Our waitress did not know how to handle someone with allergies and interrogated her to the nth degree. She then didn't offer any help for ordering and refused to modify the kale salad to put the nuts on the side to accommodate the person who was allergic. I understand that a chef may not want to make modifications but when someone is allergic to nuts, and everything is unexpectedly cooked in peanut oil, it seems like it isn't much to ask to put the nuts on the side to make one dish allergy friendly. It ruined the meal for most of us unfortunately. The fried bread was tasty, as were the hush puppies. The chicken in bbq sauce skewers were delicious. I liked the seasoning on the chicken entree. I also thought the Brussel sprouts were cooked well. My friend disliked the gumbo and the squash was pretty soupy. The potatoes with the steak were great. We didn't order dessert.

I don't normally review restaurants when I travel to other cities because that would be based on a single experience in a place I'm not familiar with but in this case I enjoyed my meal so much that I returned to have another and they were both so consistently good (at different times of day with different food selection) that I have to give Peche a shout out. I walked in and sat at the bar for lunch in the days leading up to Superbowl. Things were hectic everywhere in NOLA but this meal was perfection. The oysters so fresh, the fish so delicious. Favorite of all was the super friendly service. The bartender gave great recommendations. The vibe was just so chill and friendly that I decided to return for dinner a few days later. I ordered everything that I didn't have the first time (plus the oysters again) and it was just as amazing as the first meal. A restaurant that can keep up that level of service and food quality during the hectic days leading up to the Superbowl deserves all the praise and will be on my recommendations list for anyone coming to New Orleans.
