What a wonderful place to get classic American foods. They had a large menu to my surprise with unique specials that very day to day. Their pastry selection is huge. I wasn't able to get any pastry, but I must get it next time. I got a Reuben sandwich and it was amazing, perfect size for a great price. I would come back.

Paul's Pastry has wonderful cakes and cookies, but the customer service is less than exemplary. When we visited today we had to ask the cashier to get someone to assist us at pastry counter. Almost every time I have gone to Paul's Pastry I have been ignored for a long time when trying to order anything from behind the glass counter.

My lunch today consisted of Shrimp and grits; Mardi Gras cake; and Coke Zero!The Shrimp and grits were delicious! Chef's kiss!Great customer service; lovely dining experience!

Seriously, who doesn't love a king cake?! I have spent the last six years educating Utah on the king cake and Paul's has never failed me. I will call at the last day to get my shipment delivered and they do it. My dad has always shipped us mixed berry and cream cheese but this year I bought a strawberry and cream cheese and a blueberry and cream cheese and they were fantastic. The ones I bought after Mardi Gras were actually better than the ones we got before Mardi Gras but I'm thinking that is volume and labor. This is a special treat we would offer to anyone.

The food Gods were smiling on me today! Every time I've been passing between New Orleans and Detroit, I've always missed stopping at Paul's for some reason. And this day was a MONDAY! (Paul's is closed on Mondays)But on this Monday before thanksgiving, they were OPEN! And I finally got to try everything hereRun,don't walk, over for lunch and order whatever's on special! For me, it was gumbo over grits and I can't explain how perfect it was! And full of shrimp and sausage, big enough for two, came with a drink and a piece of cake for $10!Due to COVID, we ate it outside but they packaged it up so well, I took home the extrasAlso left with a Thanksgiving Kung Cake, (I think that's just made up but the berry is delicious), some small cakes on sale for my college daughter and friends, (see pic) and pull apart pepperoni pizza rollsYou'll want everything that's in hereAnd it's directly off the freeway

Best King Cakes always, those with cream cheese are the best. Great staff who are always helpful

Our experience with Paul's Pastry for our wedding cakes was unsatisfactory. Following a week-long period to address our concerns, we have yet to receive a response. While the cakes tasted excellent, the wedding cake's noticeable lean was a concern for our florist and drew attention from our guests, resulting in an unpleasant experience. Furthermore, we felt our wedding did not receive the necessary prioritization during the planning process, as Paul's Pastry frequently took several days or weeks to respond to our inquiries regarding our wedding or invoice payment. I even received a response from Tiffany, their wedding cake specialist, stating 'I saw your email and forgot to respond' when I had to follow up a week later. I was very understanding and patient initially, but as the wedding date approached, I felt that a quicker response time was warranted. I would email and wait a week, then have to call, and sometimes reach Tiffany, while other times someone would have to leave a note saying I called, and it would take days or more to get a response. Overall, their customer service and professionalism as a wedding vendor were severely lacking, and I want to raise awareness about our experience with Paul's Pastry in Picayune.

Cafe is amazing!!! food is always hot and fresh!! Great home cooked southern food!! Bakery is equally wonderful best king cakes in the south!!!

Love the cookies & the prices! We always stop by after running errands in the area because we just can't resist! The workers are very kind and patient & the ambiance is very nice and calming.
