Pat's Pub

Cheap beer, good service. Clean interior and clean restrooms. Parking is tricky. This is in the corner of an L-shaped strip mall that seems to be half storage for nearby businesses and half bars.This smoky bar plays heavy metal music, has an array of customers who look like they were once (maybe still are) rockers from the 1980's where everyone seems to know each other. A family bar. I think that this is a pretty great place, though I have only been a couple of times, everyone has been friendly and accepting. Drinks are reasonably priced. Restrooms are clean.Great place!

Best metal bar in Fat City and in all of Metairie. Also one of the best places to watch the New Orleans Saints games because of their drink specials. (Free pre-made shots when the Saints score) Drink prices are very reasonable and the staff there know how to have a great time. Don't expect to hear hip-hop or dance music on their jukebox either. Strictly metal or classic rock! Love Pat's Pub!

Just moved to the area. Stopped in for a drink. Little sketchy driving up and looking at the door. Once we were inside the bartender was very friendly and welcoming. It's definitely a low key casual spot we're everybody knows everybody. From the north so I'm not used to smoking in the bar but It's something I could get use to. Will definitely stop back again. Good service, good drinks for cheap.

This has been my home away from home since 1996! Great music (rock), drink prices, and frequently complimentary food (the owner, Pat is a kick-ass grill master). It is the kind of place where I never have to worry about anything! The only bad part of my stay is when I have to leave!!!!!

Great local bar! Everyone was very friendly. Drink prices were reasonable. It's a great place to watch an LSU or Saints game.
