This is delicious! Stopped in after a beach day and found Parrot Head Bodega! French Dip has the perfect bread, and the Muffelatta Sliders are the perfect size. The staff are so friendly and make you feel like one of the family! A new favorite BSL hidden gem!

We always have great service and great food at Pareot Head Bar and Grill! We love the flatbread pizzas, tacos and sandwiches. They also have a great variety of soups. Love the location too. Sometimes they have live music to enjoy.

They are not open on Monday July 3th, 2023...Im not sure why Yelp shows they are open! Waste of gas and mileage. Hope they'll update their hours after my review... It is really interesting that the restaurant around this place they have all not enough good reviews...

Very bland environment. Being a Parrothead, your name is very misleading. The food is nothing special, but ok. The service was average, but the biggest turnoff is what the name Parrothead represents and what you walk into.

Walked in at 2:00PM on a Saturday. The bar was packed but only one table had anyone seated. After about 10 minutes the waitress (Emma) finally came over to take our drink order. She apologized for the wait and went to get our drinks. She asked if we were ready to order and we asked for a few more minutes. Another couple came in and sat at the table next to us. It was 16 minutes before the couple and us became impatient and went to the bar to ask to order. The bartender said that the waitress would be just a minute. Another 5 minutes went by and I went to find her and let her know we were ready. She came over to take our order a few minutes later and took the drink and food order of the couple next to us. The food for the couple came out first, but our food was only a few minutes behind them. My wife ordered a grilled chicken sandwich plain. No pickle, no cheese, nothing. It came with cheese, Mayo and lettuce. My daughter ordered a chicken sandwich with no cheese and no Mayo, add mustard. It came with cheese and no mustard. I managed to get the waitress's attention to get our check and I thought she went to go get it, but after several minutes I look back and she's behind the bar mixing drinks. I finally get the check and the tip amount shows 18%, 20%, and 25%. Pay your wait staff a decent wage. Don't make it my responsibility to supplement their paycheck by adding ridiculous tip amounts. There were two tables with customers and it took 1 hour and 40 minutes to get in and out. Food was ok and service was on pace with a trip to the DMV.

Service was terrible. The food was hit and miss. Our final entree arrived right before the go boxes. The Texas Tacos tastes like someone added a box of salt to canned beef. This is a bar with a kitchen, NOT a restaurant. Come here to get drunk and then handle the munchies. Do not come here for a quality meal.

We love Parrot Head. They always have great service and good food. This was our first time visiting after new owners took over. Our waitress was the only one on duty and she was working hard! She was attentive and friendly-who could ask for more? The menu has changes that we really loved. They have four salads to choose from, all with a variety of protein choices. They also added a veggie burger, soups, and a prime rib dinner on Friday nights. Tonight we ordered the French Onion Soup and the MacAttack with shrimp. The soup was a good portion but spicy, which was weird; too spicy for me. The MacAttack was very good and there was a ton of it! I ended up ordering the prime rib dinner with broccoli and potato salad. The broccoli was cooked perfectly, and the potato salad was fabulous. My prime rib, which I ordered rare, was a nice big slab of beef. It came medium, and without any au jus to moisten it up. I could have sent it back, but the chef absolutely knew he didn't sent out a rare slab of roast. I'd order it again, but I sure would reference tonight's meal and absolutely send it back if it happened again. Over all, Parrot Head is definitely a fine spot for out of the way dining, a bit away from the noise and crowds of downtown. It's also a great place to gather with friends and grab a beer. We'll be back!
