Painting with a Twist

Went to bday party here this weekend. I have done several of these events but never at this location. Our group had a fantastic time! I loved all of the paintings all around the room. Everything was set up when we arrived. They offer 2 rooms so there was another party happening at the same time. We barely heard the other group which was nice. Chelsea was our instructor and she was the BEST! She assisted anyone that was struggling and also set up a great playlist for us to listen to. Plenty of free parking. Easy online ordering. Looking forward to revisiting!

It was amazing! I went for my birthday with a group of eight and a child, we all had an amazing time! Super friendly staff and a very positive environment!!Great Jobs Everyone!

My boyfriend and I booked a class for Sunday at 1pm. We were the only ones so we had a private class. It was both of our first times. We had the best time and enjoyed our instructor, Marquita, very much. We are more reserved and she was PERFECT for us. She cracked jokes but not too many. She was honestly the best instructor we could ask for. While we did not create any million dollar masterpieces, we did have a wonderful time. Highly recommend!

This is by far my favorite PWAT studio in the New Orleans/Northshore area! Each artist I've encountered is extremely helpful, talented, and considerate. I've also gone to one of their FREE SOS sessions for extra one on one assistance; the manager even worked around my schedule to make it happen! PWAT Gretna truly embodies the potential success of this entire brand in my opinion. I will continue to support and recommend them as much as I can!

Let's just say this was a much needed outing which happened to be a birthday celebration! The instructors both Kellie and oops forgot the other one's name were very energetic and fun. They were patient and to set the mood they had a hellava playlist. The lead instructor belted tones along with the playlist and was very attentive to the no so artistic-folks present. They made us all feel like experts and assisted when needed. I love how she promoted fun and diffuse negative with a drink up timer/chime when folks were getting to serious. I recommend this outing for anyone who just need a break from perfection! Your creation will be amazing no matter how much bubbly you consume or not....

This is a franchise of Corks n Canvas. I went to a fundraiser for the SPCA, and it was sooo much fun. It's not a painting class - you're not going to learn how to paint, and then go home and make your own paintings. It's more like advanced paint by numbers, with more flexibility. Like a live Bob Ross adventure where you paint stuff other than landscapes (or you can paint landscapes, whatever). You can have a party with your friends and choose your own painting, or just show up whenever they're open to do the painting of the day. If the artist leading the painting for the night can handle it, they might let you just pick a different painting rather than - or in addition to - the painting of the day, but that depends on how many people are there and difficulty or managing it - you know, feasibility issues.The paintings are simple, and it's mostly about just enjoying yourself with your friends (and in my case, my husband was brave and came along) and some strangers, drinking wine and snacking while making a painting.I sent my painting of a dog to my neice. I'm going to make some more, send some to my nephew in Toronto, and then tell everyone I'm an internationally collected artist.

My husband and I hosted our Farewell event at PWAT Gretna, and we had an amazing time. Our instructor Jessica was very friendly and professional. We requested a Christian playlist and they did not hesitate with our request. All of our guest were extremely satisfied with their PWAT experience. God bless this business. - The McDonald's

This location is the best one in the area! The staff is always so friendly and accommodating! The Deaf community absolutely loves PWAT due to the fact that they provide access for us and the tv on the wall helps greatly! The variety of paintings offered is always wonderful and the skill, talent, and patience that the staff has is an important attribute for any event and they certainly surpass my expectations every time I've attended which has been 4 times.
