OMGG Pastries

They need at least 24 hrs for a Galette des Rois (french king cake) but as the name implies, OMG it's better than good!

We ordered a chocolate babka (look it up) from OMGG which Leslie and Gene delivered to us on Christmas Eve. As native New Yorkers we were uncertain about whether or not we could find a good babka in New Orleans. Thankfully, OMGG delivered in spades and these displaced New Yorkers got the delicious flavor of Hanukkah added to our Christmas festivities. SOO GOOD!!!!We shall return ... and return and return!

We have ordered twice with Chef Leslie (once for my daughter's unicorn birthday party, the next for two Galette des Rois) and we are BEYOND ecstatic with our tasty treats! He is the real deal chef who studied in France and is truly dedicated to his passion. I highly recommend OMGG for any of your events. Leslie was easy to work with and made an incredible cake. It was so cute and tasted great too. He also delivered it to me which was so convenient!!

I had the chocolate mousse cake and a vanilla cake that was frosted with almond flavoring. The chocolate mousse cake was the best I've ever had. It was elegant and so flavorful. I have gluten intolerance and ONGG served me well. The frosting on the vanilla cake was light and delicious and made my tongue appreciate the encounter. I highly recommend OMGG.

Chef Leslie was amazing. Needed a last minute custom birthday cake and he made it happen while other places were unavailable. Sent him pics of what I wanted and had it delivered when I needed it. Will use again and often. Who makes a cake shaped like "chicken patty and nachos?" This guy!! The flavors were amazing and he definitely gives you options when you tell him what you're into.

**Chef Cowdrey Galette de Rios is simply Amazing! **While shopping around for king cakes I came across O.M.G.G. pastries/cakes shop on yelp and noticed they offer the traditional French king cake called Galette de Rios. I called and spoke with Chef Cowdrey and he explained that each one is custom made to order. So I placed my order on a Friday and he had it ready for me as requested by 8am on Saturday morning. This was very important because I was leaving New Orleans upon picking up my order. I shared some of the galette with family members who live on the West Bank. Chef Cowdrey Galette de Rios and O.M.G.G.'s pastries are simply amazing! We were blown away by the presentation, the flavor and the delicacy of this pastry. My sister ended up calling him to place an order for two Galettes! We're hooked!

Chef Leslie was great! Was looking for something more traditional and found him. I ordered a galette de rois last minute and was able to get it delivered next day. Very accommodating and the galette was beautiful and delicious!
