Olde Towne Tavern

This is a decent bar located in Slidell's party district. There is free street parking available and thy have a DJ on Thursday and the weekends. They have a tv playing at the bar and there are pool tables, dart boards, and a punching power bag there as well. The staff there is friendly and the bar seems to attract a younger crowd. I was there on Thirsty Thursday drinks are half priced. People were in and out that night. Smoking is not allowed in the bar, but that's cool because they have tables outside on the side walk where you can smoke. You can even drink your drink with you. The DJ played a little bit of everything with a high concentration of old and new school hip-hop. Their drinks are pretty strong and are decent sized. I really enjoyed my time at this bar. It was pretty chill for the most part. They were playing decent music and the drinks were dirt cheap.I like this joint for some odd reason. It is a bit of a local spot, but I is pretty cool and laid back.

Went there for a night out with friends, staff is very friendly. Service is quick and the drinks are great as always.Lots of security to keep everyone safe.

Here's what I love about OTT: This is a bar that knows who they are and - equally important - who they AREN'T. Nobody can be all things to all people and OTT is not trying to do that or BE that. Lots of places are schizophrenic trying to market to everyone. Not OTT. They know who they are: a great gathering place for locals that appeals to every demographic with no pretense. And that's what I see when I come here: an over 60 crowd who love this place and wouldn't go anywhere else - and - yet it's a place where a 20's and 30's crowd come because of the great selection of DJ's and live bands that are part of the regular routine here. They aren't trying to be the trendy, or be the go to place for whatever social media fad gets promoted. This is a place that understands who they are and WHERE they are. This is a place that understands people. That's what I love about this place.

My local cheers bar! Everyone knows everyone here. The best and friendliest bartenders. Really ice cold beer and good bands! A must visit for some fun while in old town slidell!

If I could give this place a half a star I wouldn't because it doesn't deserve that much credit. My wife was giving birth and they said it's a $20 cover... my kids won't party here when they are of age.... #sexist

I like OTT. They usually have a good beer on tap or two and they keep the good stuff in bottles as well. They have good prices and they often have specials on beers they want to get rid of. I'm not a huge fan of hip hop, which is what they mostly play in there on weekends, but it doesn't bother me too too bad, especially if they have a DJ. That ought to give you an idea of my fondness for this place. This building used to have carpet before Katrina, but I like the stripped floor they have now instead. There are 3 pool tables and 2 dart boards as well. The bartenders are all nice, especially the ladies, and they'll get you what you need to quench your thirst quickly.It's actually a nice bar to watch people if you're into that. People from all walks of life, ages, races and even different musical genre cliques mix it up very well in here. There is a friendly atmosphere and ambiance most of the time. Of course, sometimes there are troublemakers, but the bouncers here are quick to identify and remove the rotten apples. I don't like how they took out that middle wall though, separating the two halves of the bar. I liked that wall. Lol. Also, the men's room can often exhibit a horrible stench, but... it's a men's room in a bar, so...

Stopped in for a beer with my Hunny Bunny. Friendly staff and they have a very good happy hour specials nightly.

Cheap drinks, decent music. It's the people you come with that make this place fun! The bartenders are friendly and they are open till 2pm. If you don't like it you can bar hop down the street to a different one. Off street parking and walking distance to other bars.
