The owner is so down to earth, and personable that I love shopping in this store! She is a very talented designer to boot, so it makes it a pleasure to shop and see rooms that she has put together! There are constant updates, and various price ranges too, so there is always something that you can take home with you! I am very grateful that there is such a high quality antique shop in Arabi that is both affordable, and friendly!

Old Arabi Marketplace is FANTASTIC! So many different items - antiques, furniture, art, mirrors, decor, lamps, books, clothes, hats, china, silver, jewelry, memorabilia, lawn & garden furniture and decor - just an endless array of great stuff. There is also an annex one block down because they have so much great stuff! Reasonably priced (and always willing to negotiate) although they have plenty of high-end items, too. Super nice people! It's a great place to explore and shop and the owner, Lynda, will even try and find pieces if you know what you have in mind. Don't miss this place - it's a real gem!

So I went to this place hoping to find some amazing finds. Well... it's tight in there and pretty packed. There are some amazing finds but this place is exorbitantly expensive. I mean it's Arabi not the French Quarter. Don't waste your time.

The inventory is varied and spread around the store. It actually felt like I was walking through a really cool museum. They also have the best prices in the area.

This wonderful antique shop has a plethora of different items and at an affordable price. The two ladies on site were very informative and were able to find me a nice coffee table with beautiful inlay, perfect for my living room. The store itself is unique and has different sections based on the type of items. One could say you could get lost in there, but the treasures you'll find are some that you will cherish forever. I definitely recommend this shop if you're looking for unique, beautiful antiques.

Amazing selection at a good prices. Packed with goodies. Also a great place to sell some antiques you may have that just don't work for you anymore on consignment.

I love this shop! I shop at many different consignment and resale shops all over the greater New Orleans area and I find the prices are the best with a very good selection and eclectic variety. I found a Matt Rinard signed Print for a fraction of the price I've seen in other places. A table with drop down sides that I wish I would have bought but sadly I purchased one a year ago at over 75.00 more than their price and the table at Arabi Market was in much better condition. I've been going to the shop for about two yeas and it just seems to grow and have more items all the time. It has that "I'm going to find something special" vibe about it. Lots of antique furniture, rugs, prints, baskets, books, nick knacks and some new items that I would call, "quick gifts". I'm not into jewelry but they have that too. Take the 15 minute drive from Metairie and you will be hooked.
