Ohm Lounge

Located inside Barcadia and only open on Friday and Saturday nights; this is the club that I occasionally end up at! This lounge is always lively when I go and I love it here! There is a strict dress code with bouncers checking at the entrance. There are usually guest DJs playing upbeat music and the club's light show makes it all so fun to dance in. The atmosphere is usually chill or energetic, depending on the DJ playing. The bar here is almost always packed and the drinks are more on the pricey side. If the bar lines are too long, then I would step out to order drinks/shots at one of Barcadia's bar. Overall, a nice club to end up at on the weekends!

We visited on a Friday night, got us a table and the night went smoothly from there! It's a typical club scene with crowds and loud music, but we all had a great time! As others have mentioned, you have to go through Barcadia to get to Ohm, so I was a tad confused at first.

Came here on Saturday night with a group and it was somewhat packed. The bartenders were cool and they were pretty quick with the drink orders. The music was very upbeat but the DJ could've done a better job with the music selection. There's not much to say except it was a good time. Sad to say I forgot to take any photos since I was a bit under the influence.

No go cups and rude staff makes for a sad Marielle. Seriously the muscle men at this place were gross and the staff was beyond rude. I asked for a go cup and I was told that they weren't allowed on this block. This is the same block as Lucy's and Vic's. I can't take my drink to go? Come on. The music is what I would I imagine my suicide soundtrack would be. Seriously. It's boom boom boom with no end. Good Lawd. If I had to pick an afterlife torture for my enemies, it would be Ohm. In conclusion, this place sucks and the people know it because I told them. I said, "Hey, do you know what Yelp is?" The dude at the door said, "Yep!" and I smiled. Here's the review you deserve. I went here recently for a special event and this is truly a lovely venue. It's actually connected to Barcadia and only open Thursday, Friday, and Saturdays. Its atmosphere is very cute! It consists of an Asian decor theme throughout the establishment from tables and statues found throughout. It is definitely a good place to have an event or bring groups if reserved in advance in my opinion.The cocktails menu was pretty impressive but also pretty expensive. If you don't plan to spend 12/15 for a cocktail, this is definitely not the place for you (Thankfully it was an open bar). The cocktails were exceptional. The cocktail that was worth a try was the delicious Tokyo Sour which consisted of Japanese Whiskey (The Yamazaki 12 Year), Lemongrass and Elder-flower. The bartender definitely made this cocktail with care 100% from scratch. Actually he did this for the whole group on EVERY specialty cocktail asked for. It was pretty amazing. The cocktails are amazing and I would go back on a special occasion.The staff was cool. Bartender was so sweet and even answered all my questions about the cocktails due to my fascination even in the crowded room. The bar-backs were even sweet and one impeccably dressed.

Was there last week had the best time ever never imagined a place like this existed in New Orleans. One off my best friends out of Nola told me about this place so I decided to check it out for my self. The atmosphere is killer the Asian themed tapas are top notch so bad that I'm craving the black cod all ready. (Tip of the day : at this place / BLACK COD)If your into scenes and crowds this is the place to go really I've met some of the coolest people ever here. Just check it out for your self if I was a local this would be my place.

Just had my birthday party there on july 19th 2014. Had a VIP area behind DJ booth. It was an awesome night. Staff was amazing, music was incredible. Will be back soon.

Pretty cool spot to chill and let loose. I am not sure what nights are the best BUT this is a classic SPOT to make your own PARTY! You bring the friends, I play the music. Last I checked, you can be the dj here and use yours. I think this holds true if you reserve a section. Thank you for being a friend. ..nice menu. I really enjoyed the chicken skewers. The drinks were pretty good, but, I am to the point that if you coach a bartender right, you will get a homerun! Batta, batta, batta, SWING!!

This is absolutely the worst nightclub I've ever been to during Super Bowl week. There was a girl dry heaving in the bathroom and the so-called manager was gonna let her sit there in the middle of the bathroom until she called the owner. I'm an EMT and this is absolutely unacceptable. Y'all need to get it together. If I could, I would give this place less than a one star
