Ocean Star Super Buffet

Food was fresh and very good.I had my usual variety of seafoods and Chinese with a variety of Sushi . I found all very deliciousService was attentive enough.The only small issue was a little crowded though I came at a busy time.$15.99 for evening with a 10% discount for 60yrs old and up.. nice for some of my party.

The buffet here is one of my favorites! Everything was excellent! The boiled seafood is on point. The butter shrimp is amazing! The salt and pepper shrimp also amazing. The clams, mussels, noodles, frog legs, sushi, it was all so good! The restaurant is clean and so is the bathroom! The wait staff are friendly and attentive! Excellent place to bring the kids! Even the pickiest eaters will find something!

Overall, I was happy. Nothing was amazing, but for a Chinese Buffet it was above average. The food was mostly fresh. The employees were mostly attentive. Their prices are good. And they even give a senior discount (happy dance). They also have a seafood buffet on the weekends which I will check out when I have the chance.

I wanted to give my review to this place. I gave it two stars because of the service and the people aren't wearing mask. Second the food taste like plastic. This place wasn't how it was before COVID virus. I don't recommend coming to a place where it's all closed area without air purifier. So please stay away from this place until they fix their issues

Out of the many Chinese restaurants around, this one offers a variety of foods and its very good. The service is very good. Attentive to refills. Pretty good atmosphere depending on what times you go.

We ate there today. All most all the food was cold. The steam tables was on very low. Spoke to the manager about this and he acted like he didn't hear me. If you like cold food ,crawfish and crabs from China then this is the place to go.

So yes, it's a typical Chinese mega buffet. One thing I really like about it is that nothing is ever dried up, the pans are never empty. They continually are cleaning the buffet area and the floor in the dining area. The sushi is made fresh. I would like more raw options when it comes to sushi, but it's not a Japanese place so no biggy. The soups are delicious. Even my 1 year old loves the soups and noodles here. The staff are always very nice and helpful.

We came for lunches and the put out dinner so one of my kids when go get a plate of crawfish and the took the plate away from him rudely i when talk to someone and he had a big smile on his face thanking it was funny not family friendly do not go eat here . If u want good service go eat somewhere else
