Loved this hotel. From the moment we walked inside, we were treated like royalty. Every employee that we came into contact with was beyond kind and helpful. The desk clerk was helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Also liked the gift of macarons we received at check in. It was a nice touch. Our room was well appointed, without being overly crowded. The decor highlighted the previous life of this historic building that it now occupied. The floor plan was well thought out and gave us room to relax. The furniture was simple and comfortable. Everything in the room (and the building itself) was well Maintained. As we came and went from the hotel, employees always acknowledged us, and were happy to answer any questions we had. The restaurant was extremely clean and orderly. The employees were knowledgeable and eager to assist us with details about the menu. The food itself was delicious! The only downside to our visit if we had to add one, would be the valet parking. While the attendants very nice, there were just too many vehicles for the one person to handle when we arrived. But, he did an excellent job of it. Upon our departure, it went much faster and smoother. Oh! There is One more thing that I MUST mention. The rooftop!! The rooftop of this hotel has beautiful views day and night! There is lots of comfortable seating to help you relax and enjoy those views. There is also a bar and a pool there as well. It was a beautiful place to enjoy the night sky and skyline of the city. Don't miss it! All in all, It was a great stay at a great hotel and I'd highly recommend it.

The best way to describe this hotel was "fake fancy".It appears to be a very grand, beautiful space. However, it's missing the service and experience of a 4/5 star hotel. They had nothing. Half the items on the menu were unavailable. Drinks were limited, too.No hot water for coffee/tea in our room and when we called the desk, they were unable to bring us anything.Beautiful space, absolutely poor customer service and not by the employees themselves, they just had no options.

I've been to Nopsi a few times but I never noticed they had a pool until I came for a drag show. It was a drag show/ pool party. The drinks were flowing and the music was just right.

I loved how everyone was very friendly. Walking into the hotel, you're greeted with an open lobby, which was spacious. The bathrooms downstairs were clean. I didn't want to stay at a chain hotel but more or less a hotel that was in the area only. It seemed as if the hotel was filled with the culture. The rooms were updated, but you can also tell that the hotel had been around for some time, which was perfect. I had a few concerns about the hotel after reading the reviews, so i called to ask a few questions. Rosey answered the phone, and before i could further explain the reason for my call. She assured me that everything in the reviews was already taken care of. Lucky for us, Rosey was there when we checked in. This trip was to celebrate my sisters birthday and when I tell you EVERYONE made her feel special, I mean it. She was overjoyed with all of the love. The only issue we had was with the restaurant. It seemed like it took a long time for our food to come out. Other than that, we didn't have any complaints. Make sure to check out this hotel if you're in the area. It's within walking distance to pretty much everything.* It should also be noted that the hotel has a microwave in the lobby. I didn't know, so I ended up leaving my food at the restaurant because I had no way of heating it up.

The NOPSI hotel is absolutely beautiful! The staff was extremely nice and helpful upon arrival. We were given 2 bottles of water at check in. We arrived in the evening and there was live music in lobby. There bar area in the lobby and a restaurant . The room was nice and clean. I loved the vanity area. My husband loved it too because I had an area to keep all my makeup and toiletries out of his way lol. The shower was huge and they had a his and her sink/mirror.The hotel utilizes "Watson" you can text requests or ask questions via your phone. I utilized that service a few times and they were pretty fast with responding. There is also a phone in the room so I'm pretty sure you can call the Concierge too. The location of the hotel is perfect! We were able to walk to alot of the places we wanted to go to (Bourbon St, French Quarter, & Canal St). There is a rooftop pool and bar. We went in January so it was not open. However, we went upstairs to take a peek. It looks like it would be alot of fun in the summer. Staff was extremely welcoming. The bellmen/women were always nice and willing to assist.

Beautiful hotel with an amazing staff. My family and I were there for five nights and felt right at home the entire time. From the bellman, front desk workers and restaurant staff, everyone we came in contact with was warm and friendly. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The location was perfect! In walking distance to many of the amazing parts of New Orleans. I highly recommend this hotel for your next stay in NOLA.

I'd give them a negative star if it were an option. Upon arrival the lobby was dirty and the furniture was disgustingly stained. As I walked the halls to the hotel room, the other rooms were being serviced. The doors wide open and everything in the room visible from the hall. I don't want my belongings on display for anyone roaming the halls to see. The rooms themselves are unimpressive. The service and attitude of the staff is subpar. I am a local and I would never stay or recommend this hotel to anyone. There are many beautiful, clean hotels in the immediate area that offer superior rooms and superior service and genuinely want to make your stay special.

We stayed here for 8 days and the hotel itself was great. We had a suite and it was spacious and quiet. The room was clean (a few areas could be cleaner - like behind the couch cushions was filled with crumbs and hair) and the staff were all friendly. The location is great and we were able to walk to everything. The problem lies with the billing. We prepaid our stay through capital one travel but we're still ALSO charged fully for our stay by NOPSI, so basically double paid. We also had someone else's meal charged to our room and are having to go through resolving that as well. If you stay here, closely watch you bill and credit card. We are still waiting for it to be resolved. Accidents happen with billing but since we were there for so long we are talking about almost 4k in additional charges.Updating review to four stars as billing issue was resolved but I still had to email/call multiple times to resolve it.

I stayed at the NOPSI hotel over the New Year. Overall, the hotel is very clean, the staff are kind and accomodating, and it's a central location. The rooms felt very dark. I booked a corner deluxe suite which was likely one of the largest suites the hotel had available. I had about 800 sq ft of room. So, a very large unit. The room felt very very dark and lacked natural lighting. Other than that, the room was great. I also stayed with my pet at the hotel. The website says that the pet fee is $100 per room, per stay." I was charged $300 after staying three nights because indeed, the pet fee is $100 per day and not the entire "stay" as it says on the website. This is very misleading marketing and caused confusion with my final charges. The room service isn't true room service. You essentially just get a takeout order from the bar upstairs and they charge you all the normal room service fees. But, it was presented as a takeout order and not as a room service order. I would stay at the NOPSI again but I wouldn't bring my pet and I wouldn't stay in the larger suites. They're on the 2nd floor of the hotel which limits natural lighting. If I stay again, I will try to get a room with a terrace so I have more natural light.
