Nola Yoga Loft

Kitty is really sweet! Covid safe with social distancing measures in place. Highly recommend for a good mix of strength, balance, flexibility, and a sprinkle of mindfulness.

Super cute yoga space I found through Groupon! I loved the loft feel and all the natural light that comes into this unique space. I'm also a fan that they offer noon classes, for those of us that enjoy our morning routines, this is the perfect mid day addition. They rotate teachers also so I was able to practice with a couple of different ones. I loved J.LOs class she offered a fantastic flow and incorporated tapping into our chakras. This studio also offers a variety of non yoga classes such as astrology, painting, yoga and vino. It's such a beautiful space and I'm so happy they are inviting the community to come in and explore various classes. I would definitely recommend this studio! It's a neighborhood gem.

This yoga studio is so cute and a little hidden gem on a bustling part of magazine. They have affordable $8 community classes every week (I think twice a week). The yoga room is so bright with natural light from a big window at the front of the room. The yoga room is near the front and you take your shoes off right when you get in and walk to the back to register for class and put your stuff in a cubby. They have a lot of props and usually the instructors use a bunch during the class. I had never used a scarf in a yoga class before to help with stretching, and it was awesome. They don't have free yoga mats to borrow, it costs $2. The props are free to use. Everyone is really friendly and it feels so relaxing and everyone makes it feel like a special place. I went to a Friday afternoon class and it was such a perfect thing to do after work before the weekend!

One of the best things I did during my long weekend getaway in NOLA was to take a yoga class here. It was very welcoming and open, and if I lived nearby I would be a regular. Ridiculously serene and airy space: what a treasure on trendy Magazine Street. Tip: use of mats $2 extra.

New to Nola, and while looking for a simple yoga studio that offers restorative and yin yoga, I popped into this place. Full of light, comfort and energy, I have enjoyed their classes (took Yin, Restorative and Begin Dat). Looking forward to rekindling my yoga practice with these ladies PS: Please offer Yin in the evening

I first came to the NOLA Yoga Loft on a random vacation in December. I popped in for a noon class with Tara. I'm a yoga instructor up in Seattle and teach at several studios in that area. I'm pretty picky about studios/teachers. I've taken a few classes at some other studios around here, NOLA Yoga Loft is hands down one of the best studios I've been in. Seattle OR NOLA. I love this studio! The space is gorgeous and unique, and Tara is always inviting (I've attended several classes since my first visit). Tara's classes are sequenced beautifully, her instruction is clear and concise, and her playlists are fun and interesting. We just bought a home here in NOLA, and I can't wait to make this studio my home base. I've been spoiled with some great yoga up in Seattle, but the NOLA Yoga Loft is a great replacement!

Incredible space, people, and vibes... Classes perfectly combine spirituality, mindfulness with a wide variety of poses. The location is ideal, too!Thank you, Nola Yoga Loft! :)

I love Nola Yoga Loft, the studio is full of light and peace and as soon as you walk in you sense calm and serenity. Tara the owner is not only a fabulous human being but a very talented, warm and inspiring teacher. She has trained all over the world and has bought something different to the neighbourhood. I've been to various events here and they are amazing, all the people that attend are beautiful souls. Totally recommend this place for yoga, reiki, events and private classes!

The most lovely space for yoga in New Orleans! There's always a lovely mix of a vigorous workout, restorative postures, and a small meditation. The classes are good for all levels and are simply fabulous! Tara is the best yoga instructor I've ever had. Her Ashtanga is tough, her Vinyasa is spicy, and her restorative yoga is like getting a massage. All in the loveliest of spaces!
