NOLA Tropical Winery

Tesha brought us here for wine tasting and boy did we do just that. The young man poured us multiple samples of cheap and over priced wine. Hey it is what it is but when a $8.99 bottle of wine sells for $35.00..... c'mon dawg but ok we get it. I chose the Voodoo ZIn, a red wine that clocked in at 15%. The concept is nice the store cool looking and the staff helpful and nice.

My experience was excellent. I stopped by this cute shop during a recent trip to New Orleans! All of the staff is very gracious and took the time to great each customer walking in. From the moment I stepped in to the second I left, I was treated like a priority.The wine offerings are pretty awesome. They have tropical fruit wines that are 100% natural and made without grapes or wooden barrels to produce wines free of tannic acids. These tannin-free wines offer unique flavors, no bitterness, and a lower risk of a painful wine hangover. They also offer a line of about 40 wines that go across the flavor spectrum: dry, sweet, reds, whites, semi-sweets, dessert wines, port, sherry, and even muscadine wine.One of the coolest features is the small "wine smoothie" bar behind the counter. Some of the flavors offered include Red Raspberry, Blue Sangria, Pineapple Coconut, and more on a seasonal basic. These smoothies are offered as a yummy alternative to frozen daiquiris. The staff inquired about my favorite types of wines and flavor preferences. I was also offered free samples of nearly any wine that might suit my palate. I eventually discovered a few new favorites and purchased two bottles to take home. Most of their selections appeared to be from the California region, local vineyards, specialty tropical and fruit wines. Overall, I had a great visit and will stop by to pick up wine the next time I'm in New Orleans!

Maybe I missed something the others reviewers tasted, but everything I tasted was not good at all. Located in the famous mall on the Riverwalk, I was easily drawn into "tasting room" to sample local Louisiana wines. They do offer some central CA wines, but I was there to taste some local goodies or so I thought. Tasted about five wines, ranging from extremely sour caberenets to sweeter than moscato petite syrahs. Do not get me wrong, I am trying to not bash this establishment, but the product was no bueno. The only wine that I could compare to a decent 5-10 dollar back in California was over 35 dollars! They do offer free tastings, so feel free to sample before judging for yourself. As for me, this winery really did not do much for me. On the bright side there are plenty of sweets and alcoholic beverages around to satisfy those New Orleans cravings.

The wine tasting was a true turn up session!! The wines were all delicious and priced very well. The company also had rum Orion's as well which tasted very smooth. The staff was pleasant and helpful in assisting in wine options. Definitely will be going back when I am in NOLA.

Awesome!! I don't know what else there is the say. The young ladies working in this place are lively, and keeps customers coming. I wanted something sweet and local, and the lady helping me knew exactly what to have me taste. Love this concept and wish other states would do this too.

I stumbled upon this place whole walking through the mall. The staff are so nice and funny. I decided to do the tasting which I believe was 6 wines for only $10 and you get a free wine glass!All locally made wines! The wine slushy was also great.

NOLA Tropical Winery has some very unique wine choices. The staff is very helpful in assisting you to find the perfect wine choice. They have thorough knowledge of the wine pairings and choices. The offer free samples so you can determine if you like the wine you are purchasing. They also have wine smoothies to go and the mango Chardonnay was my favorite. I will be back to purchase another before I leave.

I paid $204.94 to have 6 bottles of wine to be shipped to me in Oklahoma they assured me they could ship to Oklahoma This was on Monday June 17, 2019 Today I called I gave zero emails from Fed ExThe girl whom answered the phone said oh your order will go out tomorrow ????!!! I said Jewel said the order would ship Tuesday no later than Wednesday - 8 FSU's later Nola Tropical Winery going to try & ship out !!! I said NO just refund my $204.94 the girl said she could not issue refunds but tomorrow can't have a manager is to call meNO DON'T Ship anything this was to be gifts

This is really a 5 Star place, especially as for as service goes, but because it was hot & the credit card machine went down I had to subtract a star. Bre is a hidden jewel. Please keep her around. Her patience, as well as the service she provides, are impeccable.

Lovely fruity drinks and I can say these would be fabulous on a hot day. Unfortunately the price point of $30 was really a little high for wine cooler type drinks.Great concept and super nice lady who provided the samples.
