Nola Rock Co

While I've never met a stationary store I didn't like, my Son David feels the same way about stores selling rocks and stones. Lucky for both of us, Nola Rock Co. and Papier Plume are just a few doors down from each other.We wandered in and David immediately started chatting with one of the store employees regarding various fascinating parts of the inventory. Nola Rock is quite a stunning place to walk through and we all enjoyed our time here. As it turns out, David is more of a natural rock guy vs. stones that are cut. So as his interest waned a bit, Gayle and I were admiring some really cool (and expensive) stuff like the lamps. We left with a mental note about that.

We had a great experience here. The shop is so beautiful and they have a very expansive selection of crystals. The large crystal lamps are gorgeous I would have loved to have one in my living room. I loved that the crystals were labeled with their properties and countries of origin. I was looking for crystals to help me feel motivated and rejuvenated. Madison was super helpful and we had a great conversation. She was so detailed and helpful. We loved chatting with her and she went above and beyond to make sure we got the right stones. This location is by far one of the best rock stores I've been to so far. Really neat place with every type of gem you could need. Hope it stays in business after COVID.

I love this store. I was walking from my hotel to Bourbon Street and literally stumbled across it. I saw some gorgeous and huge pieces which I knew were out of my price range but I just had to go in. I found a lovely silver and amber ring with gorgeous specks for under $40.00 (I think it was $36.00 or $38.00). I have been wearing it almost everyday.

I came upon NOLA Rock Co randomly and by chance. I saw it from across the street and my boyfriend asked if I wanted to check it out. I was amazed when we went inside. It was absolutely beautiful in there. They have a gorgeous set up and some stunning jewelry pieces. I looked around for a bit and snapped some photos since I knew people back home would love the shop. I ended up grabbing a business card and told the nice, knowledgeable man that I'd be back! I did come back but I went to their other location. Yes, there are two locations! They both carry similar items. The photos are from this shop in particular. Upon visiting the other shop on Decatur, I purchased a worry stone and clear crystal quartz as a gift for a friend. When I was in the Decatur shop, the staff were also extremely helpful and answered everyone in the shop's questions. While this review is for the Royal St location, I want to point out that both shop staff were very nice and knowledgeable. Both shops have items priced the same way and have similar items; there are little differences here and there but overall, the shop is wonderful and charming. Side note: the Decatur location has a small rocks and crystals table that has smaller stones for decent prices! I didn't see that at this location. But in all seriousness: both shops and all staff were amazing. I can't wait to make some purchases online in the future!

I was visiting a friend from out of town. I can't say enough good things about this shop. They were following Covid guidelines perfectly and felt very safe. The woman who helped Viola (sorry if that spelling is off!) was a literal angel. She helped me try on a bunch of necklaces and got me the perfect set for a layering look I was going for. When I got home I forgot the name of one of the stones and I called the shop and she was able to tell me everything about them. I love this store! It's an absolute must to stop in to and the prices are really reasonable for the quality. Viola is also super knowledgable and can answer any questions about the stones and what energy they give off. The whole shopping experience was an event in itself. I've been home less than a week and at least 3 people have commented on how beautiful my necklaces are.

I love natural stone jewelry and found this place after searching the web for highest rated stone shops in New Orleans. Beautiful shop with gorgeous stone jewelry and accessories. What a unique find in NOLA. Visited as a tourist and will be back on next trip. Very friendly gal working there assisted me. Back home I frequently wear the jewelry I purchased at this shop.
