This may be my favorite small business in all of New Orleans. The classes are fantastic and varied. The instructors are knowledgeable, supportive, and a joy to learn from. Nola Pole & Aerial has become my happy place. I started out having zero experience and have learned so much in a year. I highly recommend coming here to people of all levels and backgrounds.

Took a hammock class while I was on vacation. It was fun and went super smoothly even though I was just dropping in for one session. Everyone was really nice and helpful too. I'll definitely visit again the next time I'm in town.

Michael was absolutely amazing!! I went to a pole class to celebrate my bachelor party with a group of eight. Michael made everyone feel very comfortable. Michael was patient and attentive, taught us a great chair dance routine, some basic pole moves and even some aerial work. Everyone in the group felt sexy and empowered. Michael is an a great teacher and overall amazing human being. I highly recommend this activity, whether you are celebrating a bachelor/bachelorette party, or just looking to try something new! Don't be intimated by the poles, Michael's class is very beginner friendly and everyone has a great time (our group included men and women of different ability levels).

Whew, who knew how hard pole could be with humidity-induced sweaty body parts? I've been wanting to take a class with Brian Wolf for awhile since he moved out of Denver, not knowing if I'd ever be in NOLA. Lo and behold, I was scheduled for a work trip and fit in a class. Unfortunately I wasn't available on the days of the week Brian taught, but I was able to take the "Spin Flow Exotic - Level 2" class with Bella! The Canal Studio is gorgeous with its iconic wall art. Clever that a laptop is set up with Spotify by the front desk. Very efficient use of space overall with the various apparatuses that are taught. Bella let everyone conduct their own warmup, but I was a little disappointed we didn't actually learn flow or choreography. Still got to practice a ton of cool moves! Bella is an incredible mover (very Liquid Motion) and I can't wait to come back again.

I cannot praise this studio enough! I moved here by myself years ago, and this studio has not only provided me a space to learn and do amazing things but also a community that has become my family. The studio is *the most* encouraging space I've ever experienced. There is a specific aim to create a safe space for marginalized communities, including LGBTQ, POC, sex workers, and every and all body types. The instructors are knowledgeable and genuinely care for every student who attends. The owner, Jill, works endlessly to constantly provide and grow. The classes are highly affordable so that no one is excluded because of financial circumstances. Not only that, but I'm strong AF now! I never in my wildest dreams would believe that I was am physically capable of the things I'm now doing. I could write a novel about the many ways this studio has benefitted not only me but the whole community. But you should just come take a class or book a party and see for yourself!

What a cool place and Amy is such a talented instructor! I did a girls weekend with my cousins October 2023, visiting New Orleans for the first time and we took a shot at the intro to Pole level 1 class. Amy was our AMAZING instructor, she was sweet and funny and went around and helped each individual person and made you feel comfortable in trying something new. The 1.5hr class was plenty of time to learn and practice a few moves, it also peaked my interest enough to look into some classes in my hometown in the future. The class itself was a mix of people taking their first class and what seemed like maybe their 2nd or 3rd class as they had a grip on some of the basics more than people like me trying for the first time. Also a large mix of ages and athletic ability. I recommend getting to the class early to start stretching, someone showed up to the class 35 minutes late and was turned away. I felt a little bad for the girl BUT was 100% in agreement with the studio for doing so as the start of the class includes warm up which is VERY necessary to help prevent any injuries plus the instructor would have had to spend extra time catching that person up with the routine which would have taken away from everyone else who showed up on time. So don't be late, because the class is SO worth it and you will want to use every minute you have with the lovely Amy. If I'm back in New Orleans I will certainly be coming back.

Never tried this before, decided to take advantage of the deal that offers two classes for the price of one. Booked the beginner pole dancing and level two for the next day. Arrived to the class about 5 mins late due to parking and rain, I can understand them already starting. I wasn't greeted or acknowledged by the instructor. I awkwardly stood and waited for my party to walk in. We were confused about where to sit and realized the class was overbooked so we shared a pole. The instructor later stated the class was filled with people who tried it before, so the instruction or care wasn't there at all. I struggled and actually hurt my wrist from trying the moves, he asked if I was ok and when I said I hurt my wrist he said oh and walked off. I felt so defeated I got dressed and left in tears. I didn't attend the class the next day and neither did the person I showed up with.

I had a great time at the aerial hoop class here. Not only was it fun it helped me work some muscles that obviously hadn't been worked in a while because I was super sore the next day. The instructor was extremely helpful and encouraging.

Molly was an awesome instructor! She was so accommodating to the people in our group (bachelorette party) that needed modifications but she made sure absolutely NOTHING got left out of our experience! The music they played the entire time keeps you grooving (or twerking if you feeling froggy) the whole time. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in NOLA and I'm bringing more friends!
