NOLA Motorsports Park

I wasn't the one who made reservations, but everything appeared to flow smoothly and we had a great time. We arrived a bit later than expected... like at least a half hour. But we were able to get ready for the track within 10 minutes. If you look at the map... it's a HUGE track. It's sectioned off, though -- not sure what the tiers and levels are and such, but it's pretty epic. The waiting room has a couple racing games and claw machines, and there are electronic monitors and QR codes for you to sign waivers. When called to the back to prepare to race, there's a 2 minute video, and the helmets are neatly organized on the shelves by size for you to pick from.Once we got outside, we showed our tickets and were told which cars to sit in. They're kind enough to adjust the seat and wheel for you if you aren't comfortable. They broke down what each colored flag means, and we were off! It was fun... and my closed helmet made for some fun acoustics, humming the Mario Kart themes as I cruised down the track. Everyone had a blast -- I braked on my turns because of how I normally drive, so that definitely had me ranking low, but I enjoyed otherwise! I would absolutely do it again, and I need to get back into go-karting more broadly. If you're in the area, definitely pay them a visit!

The whole staff got a 10 out of 10. The pit crew that loaded us up made sure we knew what to do and had a firm understanding of the advantages we were about to embark on. There was one guy that saw I had some concerns because of my size and was very assuring that they would make sure I enjoyed my ride. Make sure to get your physical health in order if you want to be a competitive. These look like toys but are the real deal race carts. We as a group will definitely be coming back again.

This is a great place to go to do something a little different . If you're a competitor and have a need for speed like me you'll enjoy this place. I definitely recommend signing the waiver online before you go if this is your first time. You can also pay for your tickets and choose your time slot before you arrive. Overall this was a great experience. I took a few kids and we had fun and felt safe.

Visited Nola Motorsports for a friend's birthday and had a really fun experience ! They take you through a little course/training before you get out there. Then you grab your helmets and go outside. These are some nice go-karts, not the little ones you ride in at a fair or something like that. These have power! I was scared to go fast in them, meanwhile my friends were swiftly turning the corners with puddles on the ground LOL. You do pay around $30 for 10 minutes of driving, which I was not pleased to hear initially because it seemed like such a short amount of time, but that ten minutes did stretch out! I wish it was 20 minutes though because it is so much fun. Also they do provide lockers outside to store your things. One thing I was not a fan of though, was that the helmets smelled so bad. They did give us like a little headpiece (reminded me of a durag) to put on our heads under the helmets, but I could still smell the sweatiness of the helmets. Overall, I am definitely going back because it is something fun and different to do in the New Orleans metro area!

Very nice facility, very fast track, 5th gear through the esses. Great extra curricular activities available also.

Great krewe here! The staff is the best!!!! My kids and their friends always have a great time here on the go kart track!!! (I'm sure if we lived less than 1 hr 20 mins away we'd be here a lot!)

Have to say this place is seriously not worth the money or time. My husband and kids were excited to come here but the issues never stopped. Staff was pretty courteous but had poor communication amongst themselves. They only have 1 cart that seats 2, so if you're bringing kids under 48 inches be aware there may be a VERY long wait because of that. And the carts they do have may be running good or may be very slow (my daughter got this one both times) or may give out halfway through. Not maintained well. Seriously overpriced. The cafe is non existent and even elevators for disabled not in order. I had an operation a few days ago and there were only stairs. Compared to other carting places I've been too, this would place last in the heat.

Made a reservation for our bachelor party, and they didn't honor the reservation. We waited 2+ hours in line, then ended up leaving without racing. Don't recommend going here with a group.

while I understand that the weather is out of everyone's control, my GF and I went to race on our last day in town. Paid $200 for a couple races / kart time. upon pulling in they called and said that they would be shutting down for the day. I talked to management who said that they wouldn't refund my $ and only offered "credit back". my gf and I did on lap on their "safe in the rain track" and it was so ass. I could barely do anything due to standing water, poorly maintained karts. TLDR don't go if rain is even a possibility.

Made a reservation and paid in advance, then when we arrived they said no reservations were being honored and it was first-come-first-serve. We waited in line for over two hours before leaving without service. Do not recommend unless you literally have nothing better to do.
