NOLA Couture

After going into countless gift shops, I finally found one with the perfect NOLA shirts! It was hard to choose just one.

I fell in love with this store while visiting the French Quarter. It's a great little boutique with NOLA themed silk ties, bow-ties, pocket squares and dog collars. They also had items for women and the home. It's all custom designed and manufactured locally in NO & LA. The designs are unique and creative. I'm from St. Louis so a Fleur de Lis has a special meaning to me, too. I honestly had to make myself leave before I started to scoop up multiple items for myself and my dogs. I thought I was safe, until I got home and discovered they have a website that I can order from. Guess who's getting new collars and who's going to get new pocket squares? What a cool shop. I love it because they do all sorts of SMU gear. We got ties, dog collars, pocket squares. You name it, they can make it for SMU. The man that was helping us was awesome. He was extremely helpful. They also have super soft pocket t-shirts. I am so happy I stumbled into the shop while out and about in NOLA. We will be using them for more SMU items in the future!

'Twas the 15th of December... and I had forgotten to order one of my boyfriend's gifts!! I called NOLA Couture to order a custom belt and held my breath while I asked if they could have it ready before Friday, the 22nd. "That's no problem! I'll make a note that you need it before Christmas. Which location would you like to pick it up from?" My heart stopped. Really? The retail world is crazy right now. Above and beyond customer service, custom orders in less than a week (the belt was ready for pick up on Wednesday, the 20th!), and quality work! I would recommend NOLA Couture to anyone.

I love this store! I live in NOLA, near the Magazine street store, but went into the French Quarter store today. This was my first time in either one and it is now one of my favorite stores. Their ties (regular neckties and bow ties) are awesome. Very New Orleans. You can even buy 2 different pieces of bow ties and put them together for a unique look. I travel weekly for work and almost always get compliments on my ties. I'm sure I will now get compliments AND questions about where I got my ties/belts when traveling from now on. Briana was very helpful and I can't wait to go back. This store doesn't just have items for men. I think there were some women's items in there as well, and items for pets. Do yourself a favor and check them out. I highly recommend it.

Love this store. The young man that helped us was so friendly and informative. We go there every time in Nola. Their ties are very unique and stylish. Very convenient to Cafe DuMonde. My husband always finds something he likes.
