Recommend? Yes.This is not a vegan establishment, but items I ordered were. I tried their coolinary menu. They were kind enough to replace the naan with roti for me. I also got the onion pakora and yellow dal. I always love the onion pakoras at various places. Yellow dal and rice was also perfect. Great spice level for someone that doesn't eat very spicy food.Bosco provided fantastic service. He really made the experience even better.

Best tasting Indian in NOLA. Service was great, Shermin was really attentive and nice to us the whole time. The ambiance is authentic. The prices are very fair. Definitely best Indian in NOLA.

We popped in here on Thanksgiving day while walking around town. These folks welcomed us and it us in between reservations for quick refreshment. Cozy atmosphere, speedy attentive service, and a SPOTLESS restroom. Will happily return next time we are in town!

Nirvana was such a spectacular delight! Everything from the beautiful ambience, the spectacular customer service-- our waiter, Sherwyn, was phenomenal-- and, most importantly, the food. Highest quality, unbelievably delicious, and given the prices, the large portions blew me out of the water. I have a new favorite spot in New Orleans!

I had my order delivered to me in a timely manner. The food was good but definitely not the best Indian food I've had.I ordered the veggie samosas. They were probably my favorite item.I also ordered buttered chicken, naan, and gulab jamun. All items were warm. The buttered chicken lacked seasoning. The gulab jamun is a must try dessert! It's difficult to describe but the sweet rose water syrup is a tantalizing treat.

Delicious!!! I'm vegetarian and of course there are tons of great options. Excellent service by Seryan. Stunning art on the walls sll hand painted.

This is mine and my girlfriend's favorite place to indulge in Indian Cuisine. Sherwyn always takes care of us and goes above and beyond. The ambiance and decor are unbelievable. If you ever get a chance to check out this beautiful restaurant, you definitely should!

I went to Nirvana with my girlfriend (who has a gluten allergy). The food and atmosphere felt very authentic and our waiter Sherwyn was very attentive to our needs and went above and beyond expectations.I ordered the lamb vindaloo and my girlfriend ordered the Chicken tikka masala. The chicken tikka masala was very good, especially if you like the taste of bell peppers which was prominent in the dish. Lamb vindaloo was also very good.

Had my most recent birthday dinner here with 12 other guests and they made it a night to remember! Everything was amazing and the staff was wonderful
