Our tour guide was great! The tour was Informative, historical, and interesting. We went to places we had not been before - outside the French quarter. Highly recommend the tour.

I booked the combo tour where we went to Laura Plantation and an airboat ride. Both tours were awesome!! Kyle, our guide at Laura, really new his stuff. The airboat ride was amazing and I even got to hold a baby alligator. The only thing keeping this review from a five is the musical chairs game we played with bus drivers. We were picked up then told to get on another bus then. The same thing happened after we left the plantation. I'm sure there was some master planner who knew what was going on but no one really explained this to us during so it required us to be very trusting and hope we would eventually have a ride back to our hotel. It all worked out in the end and was a great day.

We had a phenomenal experience with Donna! She went out of her way to tell us where to eat, what to go see and do, and even dropped us at a different location than we had been picked up at! The drive out and back was interesting and didn't feel like it took over an hour to get to the plantations. She gave us great tips about our tours at the plantations themselves.

This place gets three stars for being the only tour company in New Orleans that will take you on a tour that is not contingent on the number of people that sign up. I had originally wanted to take the oak and laura plantation tour with Isabelle's tours, but was told they couldn't confirm unless six people signed up...I guess this is the NOLA way, zero professionalism. Anyhow, the Nola tour company came through for me. The guy who works in the office even gave me a ride to meet the tour bus, since my hotel was too far away. This is a meat and potatoes tour---after the bus driver picks you up, someone from the tour company checks you in, and then gets off the bus. The bus driver takes you to the plantation, blasting bad music, very very loud bad music. After dropping you off at the plantation you are given a tour by the plantation tour guide, and then you get back on the bus, and go to the next plantation. Music blasting. This is not a guided tour in which you learn about the city while on the bus. Transportation only.

Ernie was the best. A marine biologist that can answer any questions and advocates for his heritage. Truly fun and educational. Recommended to go on a sunny day. If it's cooler and cloudy it's hard to see the reptiles. Staff were very friendly and the gift shop doesn't rob you unlike the French Quarter

We did the Oak Alley Plantation and Bayou tour. Our Bayou tour guide was awesome as was our plantation guide. I recommend the tours, but the bus driver was extremely rude when she picked us up, and her driving scared us all. She was driving 70 in a 55, constantly jumping lanes in and out of traffic cutting off other cars, even pulled in front of a trolley who layed on his horn. The road was a little rough and with her speeding each bump she hit made us come out of our seats. She was also spouting off incorrect facts about Hurricane Katrina. If you don't get Demitris for a driver you'll probably have a great time.We also did the City Tour with Darrin and this tour was awesome. Darrin is a seasoned tour guide, knows the city, and makes this tour a lot of fun with his jokes and music.
