We had a great time on a tour of the swamp. Our captain was so knowledgeable and had so many interesting facts, I definitely left the swamps a lot smarter. It was so hot that day, make sure to bring a water bottle or you also have the option of purchasing at the local tour store. Absolutely recommend the experience when visiting New Orleans.

The small airboat tour was great, multiple good stops, very personal and unique. We had captain Chip, friendly, knowledgeable, funny, and a great tour guide would recommend to a friend!! We were able to see a handful of alligators, hold an alligator, and even see an alligator nest! Definitely recommend bringing your own beers, waters, etc. make sure you put sunscreen on, wear hats, and long sleeves for some sun protection! We even had a special surprise fish jump into the boat! It was an unexpected visitor! Haha

DISAPPOINTING Just took a ride on the larger group trip today at 4pm. The tour itself was a great change of pace to being in the French quarter. However, you don't actually get the full hour and forty five minutes because you wait for the people who arrived late to check in. Also, if you want to touch/hold/get a picture with the alligator that they have on the boat you have to be pushy. I stood in line for this twice and it was put away before I could get to it. Went to check with the guide to see if we would be able to have another chance and he told me to not worry, we would. That was NOT true. Then, when you get back, you cannot have an alligator out when at the dock and then he proceeded to tell me that I should have done it when I had a chance. The line was long and I am sure other people missed this as well. 5-10 more min would have made it so we all had a chance since we all paid $50. Best bet is to sit in the back next to the tour guide.
