I am so glad that we decided to sign-up for this running tour for our first morning in NOLA! Our tour guide Kendrick was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the city as well as modern New Orleans. We opted for the 6:00 a.m. tour so we got to see the sun come up and the city wake up. I love running in new cities because you see things from an entirely different perspective! The pace was moderate, I stopped my Garmin when we stopped at a landmark, and I had our running pace at a little under 12:00 minute mile. I typically run a little faster but not being used to the humidity, I was glad for a slower pace to be able to enjoy the run. This tour was the perfect way to start our trip to orient ourselves to the city and make room for all the delicious food we were going to eat!

What a great time! This was definitely a 5 star tour and we'd highly recommend it to anyone.Marcus is the owner and operator of this company and he is incredibly knowledgable about the city he clearly loves. I'm not a huge runner so I was a little afraid of doing a 10K without "training" much but honestly I didn't even really feel the distance until we finished, mostly due to the fact that our discussion and Marcus was so engaging and informative. The pace was moderate but certainly not intense and we stopped and talked enough that even modest runners can do this trip.Marcus took us all around the French Quarter, the Garden District, a historic cemetery and other neighborhoods and had answers to literally every question we could think to ask. He knew history and landmarks and didn't shy away from talking in detail about the checkered past of New Orleans... prostitution, slavery and the like. We finished the tour after 90 minutes feeling like we had a great overview of the city's attractions and landmarks and could now decide what else to explore during the rest of our trip.Highly recommended, and help support a local business!

What a great way to see New Orleans! My family was in town for the Jazz Festival and we wanted a fun activity for ages ranging from 13 to over 50. We're pretty into exercise and typically don't enjoy guided tours, but Marcus's jogging tour was an absolute blast and perfect for our active group! You get to see a lot, from historic sites to celebrity houses, all while on foot. Marcus knew a lot of history and has been giving tours for a while so he was able to answer all of our questions. He was also great about taking photos at all the stops. Marcus really takes care of the group so all you have to do is jog and enjoy! New Orleans is a very flat city, the pace was definitely JOGGING not running, and you take a lot of breaks to see sites, so the actual run isn't too taxing. The heat combined with the running might be hard for anyone who isn't used to exercising regularly. (But don't worry, Marcus has water!)If you like more energetic activities this is definitely for you! I'd also highly recommend this tour for anyone who want to just try out something new.

Awesome way to see the French Quarter, the beautiful Garden District and the trendy area of Warehouse District. Marcus was great. He's born and raised here, and knows NOLA very well. He's very knowledgeable on area history, local must see places, and even carried bottle water for us in his backpack. Great running pace- anyone can do this. Highly recommend for those who want to try something different to do in NOLA. What a fun city!

This was the best part of our entire trip!! We took various other tours -- swamp, plantation, ghost... and this was by far the best. Fun and entertaining! Marcus was extremely knowledgeable and was certainly a delight to spend the morning with. I wasn't sure how I'd do keeping up, since I've been quite out of shape recently, but i had no problem whatsoever. We ran from site to site and stopped to take pictures. We also walked occasionally for short periods of time when it was necessary. We started out in the French Quarter, ran down the Mississippi, and eventually ended up in the Garden District where we saw a bunch of famous houses and a cemetery. The city is truly spectacular and there is no better way to see it than on foot. This tour is a must do while in NOLA!!!

This was really fun! Even though it was raining when we started, it did not dampen our enjoyment! Marcus gave us great information about the history of New Orleans, current goings-on, and recommendations for places to visit and eat. The pace was moderate, with lots of stops, so just about anyone in decent shape can do it.

What a fabulous way to see New Orleans: we got exercise and a history lesson while seeing some of the signature neighborhoods. Marcus was a fun and knowledgeable tour guide. The running pace was comfortable with plenty of stops , and Marcus brought the water.

Best way to tour NOLA! From the French Quarter, the American District and the Warehouse District, Marcus covered historical information, celebrity homes and his own personal family history as his family is native to New Orleans. Thank you for an amazing tour Marcus!

I highly recommend New Orleans Jogging Tours. It was our first trip to New Orleans, and we wanted a way to get a run in while seeing the French Quarter and learning more about the area. Marcus was a great tour guide. It was about 10k total distance, and it was a very easy pace, around 11min/mi with some photo stops/opportunities. We saw the highlights of the French Quarter, and made our way into the beautiful Garden District. We learned a lot on this tour and got our run in !

Awesome! Couldn't recommend this tour enough, it was a fantastic way to see New Orleans! Just visited last week from Ireland. I run regularly, my brother runs from time to time and my other brother who also took the tour does not run at all and the three of us felt this was a great experience and we all really enjoyed the pace. The banter with Marcus, our tour guide, was very interesting and informative and getting to hear all about the areas we jogged through from a friendly New Orleans gentleman was terrific. Also, it was excellent value for money. This was one of the highlights of our trip!
