We did the Drink Lab cocktail making class upstairs first and it was AMAZING and worth the money! The history and education that are included with the class are A1. We had such a great time during the class that we spent the rest of the evening downstairs at Baroness of Baronne. All of the food, drinks, shots (gas mask shot) were great! GO!

While on our trip to New Orleans We went on tik too for suggestions. Someone recommended the drink lab and it was so much fun. Our host Owen told us a lot about the prohibition says and history of alcohol in the city. He was an amazing host! He taught us how to make 3 drinks a French 75, Hurricane and a Sazerac. K now feel like A pro and learned a bunch of cool tricks to make the drinks taste better. My favorite drink would be the French 75. We also tried some of New Orleans finest chartreuse. Had so much fun and the classes are very reasonably priced. Will return again.

We had the best time with our Bachelorette party! Camille is an absolute STAR and she is so knowledgeable, fun, and entertaining! We were greeted with a signature cocktail upon arrival & learned to make a Sazerac & Hurricane from scratch. We definitely recommend this & we will be back!

I booked a mixology class as a surprise to my hubby who used to bartend. The class started promptly. To our treat the owner actually taught the class! She gave alot of background about her establishement and then we got to work. We made 2 New Orleans cocktails sazorac and hurricane. Although the class was specific to the cocktails she gave alot of tips for making cocktails and entertaining! My hubby and I enjoyed it! We made some friends at the class and ended up going dowstairs for the gas mask. If you book the class youll hear more about the gas mask. Cheers

While exploring our options at New Orleans for a 3-day trip, my girlfriend decided to dedicate one afternoon to the New Orleans Drink Lab. We had no idea about how to make any mixed drinks; the opportunity to not just learn the basics but also experience part of the New Orlean's drinking culture was quite exciting. With high expectations, we arrived at the Drink Lab on a pedal bike ready to get buzzed with our own creation. The drink lab is on the second floor of the Victory bar, whose owner Daniel is the instructor for our mixology class. The victory bar is amazing in itself but that is for another review. Upon entering the lab, we were immediately impressed by the decor. Similiar to feeling smarter by simply being at an ivy league school campus, the drink lab instantly made me feel like a champion mixologist. All the tools and equipment orderly laid on the counter ready to do magic. After a few glaases of champagne and a few plates of delicious Jambalaya rice to set the mood, Daniel the instructor started the class. Too much detail might ruin the fun, but we were able to make three drinks: 1) Sazerac Rye, 2) Ramos Gin Fizz, and 3) Hurricane. My finished products were amazing, I loved all three drinks so much I finished them all. Daniel's teaching style is a comedy show in itself: he told interesting stories about the drinks he was teaching and joked around with his students the entire time. His style makes the whole experience enjoyable even for people who aren't into drinks. At the end of the class, not only did I have a ton of fun hanging out with Daniel, I walked out having discovered three delicious drinks and learned how to make them. It was truely an awesome experience.I am from Vegas. One may question why I would choose to expose myself to the craft of mixology in New Orleans, when I can learn from the city where part of its sin is made up by fancy cocktails and talented Bartenders. The answer is a simple one: Vegas has no Daniel.

Wonderful experiences!! I wanted to surprise my boyfriend with something fun and different to do while in New Orleans and this was perfect. It started off a little rocky with the bartender not being able to attend but the team offered us a refund or come the next day. We joined the following day and both were SO happy we did. We learned a little about NOLA and a lot about cocktails and left a little tipsy and with a handful of new recipes to try at home. I'd highly recommend for anyone who's interested in making( and drinking cocktails).

I visited the Drink Lab this past weekend and it was so much fun! Camille and Daniel were so hospitable. Daniel was charming, funny, and knowledgeable while Camille was a perfect compliment to him. We called the day of and and they were so accommodating. Not only do you get to learn the history about the drinks but you get to make extremely tasty drinks. I learned things about alcohol that will help me for the rest of my drinking life! I suggest everyone try this place while they are in New Orleans, it for sure won't be my last time. Go there if your ready to have a good time. 5 stars out of 5 stars. Go Daniel and Camille! :)

Came here yesterday with a couple of friends and had such a fun time!! We made reservations the day before not really knowing what to expect - we ended up having a private class that focused on making three classic New Orleans drinks. The price of the class covers the three drinks and a small meal paired with a glass of champagne. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. They were able to joke around with us, answer all of our questions and even give us bar recommendations for NOLA and NYC.My favorite drink we made was the Ramos Gin Fizz. I've never had a cocktail with egg whites and heavy cream, and was pleasantly surprised. It literally tasted like lemon meringue in a cup and would pair well with breakfast/brunch. On our way out, the staff gave us recipe cards so that we could make the drinks at home. 10/10 would recommend to all of my friends visiting New Orleans. It's a great activity to learn about the history of the city's cocktails while pregaming a night out on Bourbon St. The drinks I made here were way better than anything I've had on Bourbon St anyway!
