How are the prices so much higher than Creason's? It certainly can't be attributed to a difference in the cost of rent. Gouging artists seems like an unethical business model.

I thought it was a bit odd to have a pet store and art supply shop under one roof, but they make it work. I also was expecting really high prices compared to Amazon, but was pleasantly surprised to find competitive rates to most prices online.

Helpful staff..reasonable prices. Theres one shitty review on here for this store. Disregard it. Everyone has a bad day now and again, and sometimes they gotta vent with a yelp review..Love this place

I'm so glad this place opened up in the bywater so I don't have to drive across town to Michaels or the two mediocre art supply stores uptown anymore.

It was a surprising find inside of a pet store which added to its charm the selection wasn't bad an I ended up with a beautiful set of metallic watercolors

Being my first visit, I didn't know what to expect. The store shares its space with another business. It's very small but clean, well-organized and stocked with good quality essentials at decent prices. The service was friendly and knowledgeable. I consider New Orleans Art Supply a solid resource for artists in the area who, like me, prefer to keep their spending dollars in Orleans Parish.

Wont even get a star. Only put one star on here so I would be able to post the comment. Got I phone call the day before asking for confirmation but was never informed i won't be able to reschedule after that phone. Called to reschedule today and was told that's what the call was for yesterday and I would not be able to reschedule due to a hurricane coming and me having to prepare my home things won't fly and hit my neighbors homes and cause further damage. Was spoken to like I was a idiot and didn't know what the news was reporting. Yes the hurricane took a turn to the west but we will be getting strong wind and rain. Would not think about taking a class at this school ever again if they are Inconsiderate and rude from the beginning.
