Book this Tour! My husband and I were accompanied by another couple so we had a most personal tour. Our guide Guy was knowledgeable, personable, organized and so well informed. Guy illustrated his talk with a variety of visuals including the people, the designs, the styles and maps. It was easy to make connections. He gave us a history of the people who occupied the French Quarter over time, the fires and flooding that jeopardized or didn't jeopardize this area and most importantly who saved it from demolition. Guy imparted his knowledge of architecture in a meaningful and understandable way as we toured the French Quarter. Our entire stay in New Orleans was enriched by this walking tour. Thank you Guy.

We took the French Quarter architecture tour, and after strolling through the French Quarter on my own, I had been interested in learning about the history and architecture of what we were seeing, in particular the ornate ironwork on the buildings, the courtyards, and some of the curious features of the houses, such as why they were stacked so closely together. So I really wanted a tour packed with information, and I was really pleased that I got that! Our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable and packed our tour with information. We enjoyed and were very glad we made time to do it in our last days. (Also, I needed a refund after plans changed on an earlier date, and they refunded me immediately!)

The French Quarter architecture tour was everything I hoped for. Very informative about both the architecture and the history of the French Quarter. Would definitely recommend.

Stumbled upon Katrina and signed up for her Garden District tour. This turned out to be a great decision. We took another tour, of the French Quarter, the next day with another company and it was disappointing by comparison. Had us all wishing we had cancelled and hired Katrina for the FQ tour instead.

We did the tour yesterday. We had a group of 4 plus our guide who was very knowledgeable of New Orleans history and architecture. He also came prepared with rain ponchos since it rained partway through our tour. Made for a memorable walk-about. Definitely recommend this if you're interested in all the unique architecture of the French Quarter.

This was a great tour! Highly recommend NOLA tours. We spent 2 hours talking about (and seeing) different eras of housing in this delightful slow paced manner. Our guide Katrina, was well educated AND well informed about the area. It was a slow paced walk with a ton of great information and wonderful stories. It was just us, two guests and Katrina! By happenstance it was basically a private tour! I learned a lot and it was delightful. We went early and had a cuppa at the Chickory House - icing on the cake.

The blonde woman was exceptionally rude, we were meeting for another tour in the same place and she made a production out of acting like we were trying to sneak onto the tour. Like we have tickets to a different one, it's just the wrong one! and she's on about "NICE TRY" and "OKAY CAN I HELP YOU?" Yes we're on the tour? "UMMM NO YOURE NOT. YOURE NOT IN THE TOUR. BYE" Cmon how hard is it to be like oh wow you're at the wrong one sorry. So easy to not be a pretentious jerk! "Nice try"yeah, okay, lmao.
