This is the craft item. Thus, we did inquire about the price. We are not questioning the QUALITY of the finishing. No customer service

Spending a day in NO and wanted to take advantage to get supplies and advice for my first needle point project in years. This was the right place to go. Beautiful stock, and more important very helpful staff. I came away with everything I needed, the promise of additional threads by mail order, if needed and lots of enthusiasm!

Review from a knitter:The staff is very nice and helpful. I am a beginner knitter and they helped me select the perfect yarn for a few projects. They will also wind your hanks that you purchase into nice skeins! If you're looking for colorful soft cotton yarn, this is the place to go.

This is my go-to knitting store. I have shopped at all the different shops in town, but this is my home-base. The owners are wonderful and helpful and know their craft. And their selection is great--they focus on yarns that are meant to be knit and worn in New Orleans--think cottons and bamboos and linens... And then wools for our winters. They also specialize is needlepoint canvases that are NOLA icons--K&B, McKenzie's, Leidenheimer, etc. that, when completed, are about the size of Christmas tree ornaments. Even though I don't do needlepoint, I can't resist savoring all these local goodies when I visit their shop.

I knit and crochet, so I can't comment on the needle work side of the shop. The store has a lot of nice and colorful cotton and linen yarns - very appropriate for our weather. There are also a good stock of basic supplies for both crafts and bags for carrying your works-in-progress.The weekday hours are not good for me (closing at 4 p.m.) since I work during the week; they are open on Saturdays, so that's when I go.Be careful when parking. There is no parking lot. That part of Canal Blvd is busy. The ladies are friendly and the customers on the needlework side wanted to know what I was knitting.

Awful just awful!!! Do not have any work finished by this place! I went with my 12 year old daughter to get a rug pillow finished. Since it was hers and her money we asked how much it would be ... around 50 dollars. Which was high for a rug craft but she wanted it ...so we said okay. Today I picked it up, when we signed the ticket I thought it said 60 dollars . It was not until we were in the car .... $160.00 yep 320 % More than a quote not 20% higher. She called and was told the person should not have quoted her a price !

They only have a small room's worth of yarn, but the yarns they do carry are good quality ones. The ladies who work here are always sweet, as well. :)

I LOVE Needle Arts Sudio. They have the most fantastic supplies and canvases. They've also just moved. Don't miss them at 5301 Canal Blvd in New Orleans about a mile from their former location. 504-832-3050
