I booked a Drunk History Tour several weeks ago for December 4 for the two of us. As we were on our way to the meeting spot, an hour prior to the start time, I received a text that the tour had not met the minimum number of ticket sales. The tour was cancelled and I had been refunded. (I received the refund confirmation within just a few moments. The refund was incredibly prompt ) I appreciate the text and the refund, but they could have asked if we wanted to join another time slot? We were in NOLA another three days and could have rebooked easily. We were super disappointed as this was highly rated and seemed like a nice mix of history, voodoo, pirate, and ghost tour. Booking with this company is a gamble.Editing 12.25.17 - The operator is unhappy with my review and stated that she invited me to rebook. I invited her to review the text message she sent me as she cancelled and refunded in the same message and no attempt whatsoever was made to engage me in a conversation about rebooking. Her cancellation, verbatim:"Attention customers important information regarding the 2pm Drunk History Tour / Reservation. This tour will not be operating Minimum numbers apply. This tour did not meet the requirements to operate.Viator has been intructed to issue a full refund. If you have any questions regarding the refund please contact Viator customer service.Feel free to contact us if you have any issues with the refund process. We are happy to help. We have approved your refund and we will help if you need additional assistance."I do appreciate the text notifying me of the cancelation an hour before the tour was to have started and the quick refund; the best I could hope for under the circumstances, apparently.

This tour by far was the best tours I took while I was visiting New Orleans. We mistakenly missed or scheduled date Ashley our tour guide was kind enough to let us join the tour the following day. Upon arrival I was greeted with a very welcoming hello, Ashley took us around the French quarter where we were taken to sant Charles cathedral /Jackson Square, lalaurie mansion, Marie Laveau voodoo shop just to name a couple spots while sharing stories behind every location. We stopped at a couple of bars which was great because I never had an empty cup. The tour lasted about two hours but felt really short you know what they say, time flies when your having a good time! I definitely recommend this tour you won't be disappointed. Thank you Ashley!

Here's the just of it:Being an event planner across North America, I've worked with many other tour companies. I unfortunately am not able to recommend Nawlins Theatrical Tours as I've received the worst customer service that I have seen in their field in over a year. Folks ended up with an other tour company in NOLA which everyone in the group raves about. The back story:I have booked this via Viator for a group that was in town for business and available one day only. I was not able to reach out to Nawlins Theatrical Tours prior to booking as I couldn't find any contact information on Viator's website at this point.I've contacted the company 3 minutes after receiving the email payment confirmation, making sure they could accommodate the date and time the group could attend. The representative told me they couldn't help, and had no other options but to reschedule to another date - which wouldn't be workable since they had only that one day available - and recommended I call Viator directly to request a refund. Over the phone, the Viator customer service representative was kind enough to put me on hold and call Nawlins Theatrical Tours directly to request a refund since this had been less than 15 minutes since the time of purchase at that point. They returned to me and explained that Ashli refused a refund, and that for this reason, they could not move ahead with it. We're about 30 minutes in at this point. Nawlins Theatrical Tours emailed me back saying that they did not refuse a refund, and that it must've been Viator's policy. Viator had enough common sense to give Nawlins Theatrical Tours a call and request a refund given the circumstances - absolutely no other time would work - and that everything was done less than 30 minutes after the time of purchase. Nawlins Theatrical Tours still denies that they are the one who refused the refund and blames Viator. I've called Viator a second time and they confirmed that the refund was refused by Nawlins Theatrical Tours. I am still doing business with Viator, but am crossing Nawlin's off my list.

This was the best tour we took in NOLA! The tour guide Ashli (Trashli) was amazing and made this tour so much fun and exciting. We laughed so much while learning the history of NOLA! I would highly recommend this tour if you are in NOLA! We also got to stop along the way to get drinks (and use the restroom). 5 stars all the way!!!

I booked this tour 4 months ahead of time, because I was looking forward to a haunted tour in NOLA while celebrating my fiancé's birthday. Out of ALL our tours this was BY FAR THE WORSE ONE. They did not refunded, they never showed up, they did not even email to WARN us they wouldn't show! TOTALLY INEPTITUDE! DO NOT TAKE IT, waste of money. The bartender warned us the tour guide was sick a week or so ago(, although I know emergencies are completely unpredictable, an email or a refund would had been nice even an hour prior. I never review badly, I don't review at all...THIS WAS COMPLETE INEPTITUDE, I wish I had nicer things to say, but I'm sure a elephant going in reverse has more delicate manner than the bozos running this shit infested tourist trap

Be careful, they aren't very sympathetic with tourists! My wife and I booked the haunted Excursion for my two daughters and us and paid a taxi to take us to the tour. They texted 5 minutes before the event was supposed to start saying they couldn't make the numbers and wanted to reschedule. My wife said okay but we didn't check our schedule and the next morning we realized we had a conflicting event scheduled. So we texted them several hours in advance saying we can't make it can we get a refund. We were leaving town the next day and could not reschedule. They were not willing to refund us. I don't think that's very understanding and they are taking advantage of tourists. And when i said i was going to leave negative feedback they said, "Ok. I understand." I would recommend you book with another company.

If you are thinking of booking a tour that will allow you to enjoy the haunted history of NOLA, while also sipping on an alcoholic beverage of choice AND laughing till your cheeks hurt, look no further. Book the French Quarter Drunken Ghost and Vampire Tour with Ashli! She has so much knowledge to offer and is so witty. We had a blast and it was one of our favorite things that we did while visiting NOLA for the first time. Ashli's a riot and such a sweetheart. Don't second guess, just book her tour!

I'll start by saying, this was the BEST part of our trip to New Orleans! I found this Drunk History tour online and thought it would be interesting for a bachelorette group we had. It turned out to be the highlight of our trip.We were lucky enough to have the tour guide all to ourselves, so it was really fun to be able to interact with her and ask alot of questions. The tour was all about ghosts, vampires, and VooDoo in New Orleans history, and we got to see the real places where alot of these mysterious things happened. So it was great to get some real history from someone who knows alot about it and also has her own first-hand ghost stories. All along the tour, we got to stop into bars to get refills and continue the tour. Needless to say, it was fun......Over all, Ashely was soooo nice and funny, and really patient with our large group of drunk girls! We learned alot of cool things and will definitely recommend it!!
