This review is based on the customer service that we received on our tour. We were only in New Orleans, a short period of time and I had my itinerary pretty much planned out. But what you cannot be prepared for some time. Is the weather been un cooperative ! So that being said, our plan for to the Whitney plantation and swamp tour did not happen. Strong thunderstorm came through all afternoon infecting the power at the Whitney plantation and they close for the day. Also that impacted our swamp tour. But we remained with a group. We just did not go to the other tour options and was given the opportunity to get a refund. Our driver was so nice. So friendly a gentleman and had us cracking up throughout the ride and all this chaos with the weather. He also provided us with lunch . He stood on his word and gave us that refund and still returned us back on time even though the weather was absolutely crazy. IF I ever am back in town in New Orleans and the weather is okay. I definitely will book with them even though our experienced was not what we planned. We still had a good afternoon and he made sure that we were safe and in good hands

Awesome transportation and narration between downtown and the Whitney Plantation combo'd with a swamp tour. Whitney was more focused on telling the slaves' stories which was way more informational than other plantations I've been to.

I booked N'awlins Luxury tours via a Google search. I called and Valerie answered all of my questions. I immediately booked the combo Whitney plantation and swamp tour. The day of I received a reminder text of my pick up location and time from Dionne, our tour guide. Dionne was on time for pickup, friendly, and the bus was clean. On the way to the plantation, she gave us a overview/history lesson of New Orleans. We enjoyed our tour and the bonus we got to visit two plantations due to other tourists visiting Oak Alley. Amazing company. Book now.

I booked a tour of the Whitney Plantation with this company and had an excellent experience. The Whitney is the only plantation that focuses on slavery, and is in fact a slavery museum. This is important, because plantations are not just pretty historic houses. I don't know if the focus of the other plantations has shifted to include slavery in the last year (Laura and Oak Alley), but I think this is a distinction worth noting. Our friendly driver picked us up in a small bus with comfortable seats and large windows. The company does pickups at both hotels and sometimes Airbnb's. The plantations are all located at least an hour outside downtown New Orleans, and she kept us engaged with lots of facts and stories about the area along the way, and answered our many questions. The ride back was also comfortable. The museum itself was incredible, I recommend it to everyone who has the time to make the trip. Tours can be combined, so you can also go on swamp tours and such - check out their website!

Dionne was great. At first, I was disappointed to find that I couldn't book with their company (for somewhat a last minute Airboat and plantation tour) as all spots were taken. As I got off the phone Dionne called me back within a minute, to say that she talked to her supervisor and was able to get another tour scheduled! Then when the day came, not only did they call and text confirm my reservation, but they came to pick us up, very punctual! And best of all Dionne was the driver and pointed things out on our journey, so a tour guide on top of that! We also did a last minute plantation visit schedule to Whitney, which did not disappoint. We were so glad that we changed our minds to visit Whitney as recommended by Dionne, as my teen son had learned about slavery in his history classes and appreciated the opportunity to see this historic place in person! As for the airboats, we scheduled the small airboat, which has a smaller group of passengers, and is faster and turns more quickly than the big airboat. So much fun! On top of my screaming (for the fun), my son had this huge grin on his face the whole time. He even lost his sunglasses without knowing it!

We used N'awlins Luxury Tours to get from New Orleans to Whitney Plantation and were very pleased. They were always available by phone and extremely responsive to our needs. In fact, they picked us up at our AirBnB instead of requiring us to take Uber to meet them in the French Quarter.Dion wars a terrific guide and great driver. She was very personable, answering my continuous barrage of questions. She also shared her knowledge of the geographic area between New Orleans and the plantation because she is a lifelong native New Orleans resident. She also gave us lots of information about where to eat amidst her typical tour spiel.

I found this business through a Google search and I'm so glad I went with them. Dionne was thorough with communication about pickup time, arrived promptly to pick us up in a clean van and had a great attitude. She provided us with information about the various areas on our way to the plantation and allowed us to take pictures when possible of area attractions. Will definitely book with this company again when coming back to the area.

New Orleans is a tour driven city. Finding the right tour at the right price can be a challenge, but Nawlins Luxury made it simple. We booked a tour for four, very reasonably priced compared to other spots. But here's the kicker- it included door to door service, a novelty in this town! Our guide Dionne had a warm, friendly telephone demeanor. She picked us right up at our b&b. She was a good safe driver and gave us a tour along the route pointing out interesting places and giving us a brief history, since Katrina, as we drove along. We booked a combo tour of a pontoon swamp boat tour and a plantation tour. Now a big selling point for us as WOC, was that they were the ONLY tour company to offer this combo with the Whitney plantation-- which honors and preserves the histories of enslaved persons. For us, visiting a plantation had ethical implications and we really preferred to stick to the Whitney. So this really was a boon to find a company that catered exactly to what our group wanted. We had a nice lunch stop, again Dionne finding a good place for us to grab delicious po boys. Dionne was fantastic as a guide ahs driver; warm courteous, funny, and informative! Highly recommend her services! You won't regret it!

Our bus driver, Dionne was great! She informed me of the best plantation tour and allowed me to change. That was the best decision because we enjoyed getting the history of the enslaved we were looking for. She also gave info on the way of the cities.
