Not a bad place, not a great place. If you are looking for a place to grab some souvenirs to take back with you, this is as good of a place as any. You can make this as quick of a stop as you want. There are shirts galore in here and if that is your thing you will definitely not be disappointed. They do have a nice selection of adult and children shirts and sweatshirts. They have all the sizes you can think of.I was able to find everything I need in here to take back with me. And after I was done looking I continued to look. Because on top of the shirts there are tons of little knickknacks everywhere. And like you would expect everything souvenir like from license plates with your name on it to Christmas ornaments. And yes, there are two women in here. It is their shop and I would be attentive to everything in my store. Like most stores in New Orleans they have huge front doors that are mostly open. I'd want to make sure that nothing walked away.

In the world of kitschy touristy gift shops this one beats the rest. The New Orleans blues gift shop has a very helpful staff and more than happy to help out even offer a discount on solicited.

Absolutely horrible. They have more shirts than most gift shops, so we spent about fifteen minutes looking at all of them and taking some off of the shelves because the shirts are all folded, and you can't really see the shirt without taking it out and looking at it. The two women working there spent the ENTIRE time watching us super closely and asking us weird questions. They got increasingly hostile and made us feel really unwelcome. They kept asking us why we were messing up the shirts when we were comparing which ones we wanted, so we started to put all of the shirts back as best we could for another ten minutes. Finally, we decided to just leave because they were making us feel weird, and the woman literally called us out as we were leaving and stopped us. She spent a minute yelling at us for messing up all of the shirts and then not getting something in the end, and it made us feel absolutely horrible. She was the rudest woman I've ever met and this was the worst store I've ever been to. Spend your money elsewhere, the Mardi Gras Gift store across from the H&M was my favorite.
