What a pleasant surprise in the East! I wasn't aware we even had a pet shop around my house so I decided to peep it out. Immediately the owner greeted me and gave me a tour of his fish. Every Friday he gets new fish, the line is out the door for the new-new. The owner breeds fish and is definitely a fish enthusiast. His fish range from community to aggressive. All beautiful breeds. Not only does he carry fish but also the supplies to start up an aquarium and maintain. He also carries dog supplies and reptiles I saw from afar. A new location will be across the street so can't wait for that.

I was so extremely excited to try this pet supply store and I seen it was black owned so I was so eager to support. However, this store is never opened. I seen they open at 10 AM which I found odd as the others open 8 am, but nevertheless I was still going to support. I went to this location on multiple days and it pains me to say they always had their gate down. Especially because this is literally the only pet store in the New Orleans East I expected more and had better hopes. I read the bio on how they wanted to be the place where people who live in that area could go for their furry pets. However they didn't deliver and the businesses around them stated they were almost always closed. Someone needs to update this business information, so people like myself won't waste time and end up disappointed.
