Mr Q Crab House

since moving I have been to this place at least three times in a month. It's my go- to place so far. The only time I was disappointed was when I ordered crawfish because I didn't want any butter or anything on them. And I got what I asked for - plain boiled crawfish. The grilled beef dinner is good. The shrimp po-boy is light. The corn and crab soup is good and the coconut shrimp is awesome. Bring your appetite because you get a lot, especially with the shrimp, but not so much on the po-boy.

My first time the fries and fish and my Daugther got the chicken strips wasn't too bad... cashier/ waitress was friendly; however a little too up beat and personal...she needs to slow down with dancing and singing when serving customers other than that l'll visit again and perhaps dine in next time... hopefully prices will be a little more reasonable!

Been wanting to try the snow crab legs here, went for dinner, they advertise snow crab legs $1.25 lb, They leave out the actual price $26.49 lb (the advertised price is a formula for clusters). Beware!!

Everything about this place was disgusting. From the way the waitress and her boyfriend were fussing and cursing to the FOOD. The GHETTO! The sauce on the crabs tasted like mustard with garlic. Everything was just TOO much. The chowder was watery. The crawfish fried rice was dry and the crawfish tasted imported. The fried food was the best out of all the food we did have.

The moment I stepped in the door I regretted my decision to go there. I know it's a seafood based restaurant but it smelled like I was at a dock where they clean fish. So I had to order to go because I couldn't sit in there with the smell and when I get the food I was missing an item and the lady said that she forgot to put it in and she's sorry which didn't bother me much. I got a shrimp po boy and it didn't have enough shrimp to cover the bread and was overwhelmed with ketchup and mayo. It honestly just wasn't a pleasant experience. My stomach experience afterwards was also horrible . I'm sorry but I would not recommend this place to anyone especially being a seafood restaurant in the south and it being what we are known for.
