I was extremely sad when my neighborhood food truck staple (foodie call) left the scene, but thankfully Mr. Chop showed up. I have only had the beef dumplings in Mr. Choos broth because I cannot seem to stray away because it is that awesome! Homemade dumplings in the most incredible broth ever. Can't wait for my weekly fix. Find these guys on social media and go immediately! You can thank me later!

Choo is ok if you are very hungry. I was not impressed by any of the food options but were happy to have them as the only real food truck for Chewbacchus. The meatball sandwich was all the talk but was disappointed when I realized it was frozen meatballs with a good sauce and seasoning on top. The soups other than the dumplings were a little bland. Overall if there is nothing around and you are hungry this place may satisfy but it will be hard for them to compete against the other great food trucks in the city.

While visiting NOLA, I stumbled on this food truck off of Magazine St in front of Rendezvous bar. My hubby and I were hungry after walking from shop to shop so we ordered everything on the menu except the vegan broth. We had beef dumplings, shrimp dumplings, teryaki chicken sandwich, and the meatball sub. OMG--the broth!!!!!! It has that Umami taste, a mix of spices with rich flavor and depth. Sooooo good!! The dumplings were really great on their own. I'm not a beef fan but I was ready to place another order immediately. The second beef dumplings I ordered without spice for my 2yrs old son, and he devoured it. After, he kept asking for the broth. The chicken sandwich had an awesome flavor, with coleslaw on top that added freshness, and the meatball sub was delicious. The meatball sub has a more subtle flavor than the others and the meatballs were fresh and juicy. Kudos to the chef for a great meal. I recommend this food truck to anyone visiting NOLA!

Beef dumpling soup was to die for. A little piquant and highly flavored. Got a 2nd one immediately. Then tried a vegetarian veggie soup (ONLY $3!!!), not as over the top flavorful at the beef broth but, excellent none the less...lots of varied ingeedients and very fresh tasting. Best quick soups ever.

Just stopped by Mr. Choo for a quick bite. It was quick, but let me tell you something it was also fantastic. Got the Salmon Miso sandwich and the spring rolls. You cannot go wrong with either. The Salmon was cooked to perfection and tasted as if it was sushi grade. I eat at all the food trucks and Mr. Choo is the reigning champ. Best food truck in New Orleans and will probably be a restaurant here soon. Love me some Choo.

Love love love this food! Not greasy and heavy like so many in New Orleans. Liked the meatball sub best. My husband did with bread and I did without. As someone who orders meatballs EVERYWHERE, I thought they were delicious. Juicy, and flavorful - but not drenched in sauce. Hoping to find them in the Marigny tonight. A must try!!

My dad and I went out to try this new Asian fusion food truck that his friend told him about. I'm not one for Asian food but Mr. Choo's food was expectational. The chicken teriyaki po-boy was fantastic and I also tried this hot apple cider that was good to. Next time I get craving for Asian food I know where I'm going. I advise everyone to who has yet to try it to do so next time they get a chance.
