Monday Restaurant + Bar

My server way Ty, she took our orders and brought the drinks out shortly after.The food was average, but not bad.. I would definitely take friends from out of town here! They would go crazy for the selection. The fish was seasoned af! And definitely had me wanting more!My drink was good.. but a little sweet.The ambiance was super chill, and the music definitely fit the occasion.The reason for the 5 stars is for the ambience and service. The food would definitely get a 3.5

Ambiance was great! I had just landed and was super hungry . A friend made this suggestion , and it was very chill nice light r&b music playing . The food was very good I had the Brussels sprouts OMG so good ! And I also had gumbo that was so good as well !The drinks was very very good ! I had the lemongrass cocktail!This spot is a must try if you're visiting !Staff and bartender were super nice warm and welcoming !!I'll def one back

We won't be eating here again. The staff is friendly and exceptional, but the food overall lacks compared to price point. They don't split checks which is weird and have 1 bathroom inside. When I heard the owner of Morrows owned the establishment, it made sense why it wasn't all that. They're good for drinks and a vibe, not food. Spinach Seafood Dip: 9/10The only thing that could make it better is smaller shrimp, but it was delicious.Catfish & Grits: 4/10Grits were so thick they didn't have a consistency I could stir or pour out like batter. They just stuck to the plate. Catfish was not all that. It's basic batter and could use more season and flavor. Chicken & Waffles: 5/10Waffles taste like hotel breakfast, weren't soft and cake like. Chicken was seasoned. Mimosa Flight: 9/10We're so strong, you could smell it. Only thing I didn't like is they didn't tell me the flavors of them.

The food was soooo good that I forgot to take a picture! Cheeks, the waitress, was absolutely amazing! She knew her food and recommended the best! We started with the seafood spinach dip sooo good! I ordered the blackened redfish, loaded mash potatoes and Brussels sprouts. My sister had the lamb chops...OMG they were thin and well seasoned with asparagus and potatoes. My other sister ordered wings and truffle fries which were perfectly seasoned and fries were delish. I'm definitely returning the next time I'm in Nola!

Food was delicious! Order the sweet potato beignet's! It's a must try!Service was awesome!Ambiance was a vibe with good music UNTIL you have some ignorant on his phone LOUD with his girl sitting on his lap! He spills his drink, he didn't budge to clean it up, still on his phone loud AF paying no attention to his girl, girl if ya reading this..leave! lol I'll come back hopefully he's not there. & Kudos to the staff for cleaning his table and floor without a complaint. You guys are awesome!

Agreeable outdoor seating and chill hip hop make this a fun restaurant for couples, groups of friends, and parents with children. The cocktails are fun and the frozen margaritas are tasty. The seafood and spinach dip appetizer is delicious. The grilled shrimp Caesar is very good, and the red beans with sausage are classic and tasty.Our little ones loved the fries, but did not like the burgers due to being overcooked. Overall a fun and relaxed dining experience.

This was my second time dining at Mondays, and it was just as good as the first! I came with my sister and friends, and our server, Brion, was fantastic. She suggested the redfish and salmon burger, which my table decided to order, while I went for the lamb chops with grits--no sauce, just the perfect combo!For our appetizers, we had the chicken cracklings and crab claws, which we enjoyed together with our first round of drinks--the mimosa flights. The chicken cracklings were a fun twist on the traditional dish, more like chicken nuggets, and I'm actually ordering them again via UberEats as I write this review!After our appetizers, we switched to the margarita flights/shots, which were equally refreshing and paired perfectly with our dishes.Overall, the atmosphere was lively, the food was exceptional, and Brion's recommendations truly made our experience memorable. I can't wait to come back for round three! I highly recommend Mondays for catching up with friends!

After hearing a friend speak so highly of the brunch she enjoyed on Sunday, I went the following day, Monday, with the same friend and two others. Our experience, unfortunately, was underwhelming. To begin with, we were excited to enjoy the frozen Margaritas for the happy hour since it was Monday. That did not happen because the machine was broken. We wanted to order as soon as we sat down but were told that the machine would be down for 20 minutes. After 30 minutes, we asked and were told it would be an additional 30 minutes. As we were preparing to leave, we were told, even though we were over it, it would be an additional 5 minutes. Had we known we would not be able to get the drinks, we would not even have stayed. Now for the food. One ordered the wings, which looked delicious. Another ordered the chicken pasta. It was just ok. The pasta sauce, which was akin to Alfredo, could have used more seasoning. Two of us ordered the salmon. We both should have asked for it to be cooked well done because we both sent it back when we discovered it was uncooked or not cooked enough in the center. The center was also not hot. We sent it back, and I decided to eat my sides: fries, mac, and cheese. The mac and cheese was embarrassing. I usually do not order it out, but I gave them the benefit and ordered it. It was a soupy mess that could not have been made with any cheese that was in block form. The macaroni was overcooked and just awful. Our server was nice, and she offered a refill of the coke, but I had to ask for water refills. We all agreed that we would not return unless it was for the brunch, which I was told was a completely different experience.

Nice outside atmosphere, good food, good chill music to eat to....service could have been a little more on point but not horrible. I thought the sweet potato beignets would be the highlight but learned it is just the mashed sweet potatoes off the menu stuffed into fried dough. The worst part is that they came out cold instead of warm. My partner had the fried chicken skins and said they were tender and good but not as filling as they do not contain meat. They are paired with honey hot sauce. The breading on the catfish was typical for me but crunchy; my partner thought they were way too salty. The elote was the best thing I tried, and was tempted to get another order...definitely a must try. I would definitely come back for brunch to try the shrimp n grits among other items.

Visited during Super Bowl weekend and was treated with the utmost respect as a security professional. The GM provided great service. Had the wings and sliders which were very good. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone planning to visit New Orleans/Baton Rouge area. Thanks again for hospitality.
