Tucked away just beside the French Market in the heart of the French Quarter, Molly's at the Market is a small, unassuming watering hole that offers one of the best-kept secrets of New Orleans--the Frozen Irish Coffee. While Erin Rose Bar may have popularized this delightful drink, Molly's has truly perfected it. If you're a fan of day drinking, or just need a refreshing pick-me-up during your Bourbon Street adventures, Molly's is a must-visit.Their Frozen Irish Coffee is simply unbeatable. The balance between creamy smoothness and a generous kick of alcohol is perfect. You can taste the richness of the coffee, but it's not overpowering. The creamy texture is velvety, and you're never left wondering if there's enough booze in the mix--there absolutely is! To top it off, the drink is crowned with a swirl of crushed coffee beans, adding a fun, crunchy texture that contrasts beautifully with the smooth, icy beverage. It's not just delicious; the presentation is a treat for the eyes too.Whether you're looking to kick off a day of bar-hopping or need a bit of a refresher in the middle of your Bourbon Street bar tour, this frozen concoction is the quintessential drink. Molly's version stands out for its smooth execution and the unique twist on a classic, making it a memorable part of any New Orleans outing.Whenever I'm in town, stopping by Molly's is a mandatory stop. The vibe is laid-back, the drinks are top-notch, and the atmosphere feels authentic to the spirit of the French Quarter. If you haven't tried it yet, do yourself a favor and grab a frozen Irish coffee at Molly's--it's a refreshing and indulgent way to experience a true New Orleans classic!

I only stopped in to grab a Bloody Mary. This one has none of the frills that a lot of people add to add flash to a under-whelming drink. It is unique as they add a bit of Guiness and the is absolutely delicious. One of the best that I've had in a while. Not overly spicy and it has actual flavor. If I'm walking by this bar again, I'd stop to grab another and to try one of those 'Frozen Irish Coffees'.

Came to try the frozen Irish coffee and it didn't disappoint! Highly recommend stopping here if you're in the area. Reasonable priced and so tasty. Add a shot too!! All the shots they recommend have been tried and approved, so you can't go wrong. Service as quick and super friendly. Plenty of indoor seating available.

What's not to like, an easy dive bar in a great location with possibly my favorite drink in New Orleans (the frozen irish coffee). It's not too sweet and you can add an extra shot to customize it (I'm a fan of the banana whiskey but that's just me). They're delicious, strong, efficient and that's what I love about it!!

Amazing frozen Irish coffees! Literally tastes like a milkshake. So creamy and thick. The alcohol flavor is very subtle, which is great bc I don't like when I can taste it lol! You have to get it topped with the coffee grounds. Looks liked crushed Oreos aha, but it's better. It's coffee cmon and it's crunchy. Makes all the difference. The inside is small and such a vibe. Come to Molly's for a nice and refreshing drink!

Awesome dive bar in the French Quarter. The frozen Irish coffee is a must try. You can add a shot but it taste great without one. These are dangerously tasty. Bartenders were quick and helpful. Lots of cool random decor pieces on the walls and hanging from the ceiling. Definitely stop in here if you are strolling the area.

Came to Molly's on an early weekend morning just as they opened. It was nice and chill this early and a couple people stopped in for frozen Irish coffees. Here you can add shots of liquor to your already alcoholic frozen Irish coffee. I chose to stick with the original and it was mildly more alcoholic than the one at Erin rose which was great! Additionally, this was $1 cheaper than the frozen Irish coffee with the souvenir plastic Erin rose cup.

We stopped in to grab a drink on a warm Saturday. The drinks were perfect and reasonably priced. The place was decorated for Halloween and was clean and inviting. The bartender was friendly. I had the frozen Irish coffee (added butterscotch) and it was delicious and perfect for a warm fall day. Molly's at the market is a must do!

If you're looking for an authentic New Orleans experience, be sure to pop into Molly's. The frozen Irish coffee is more than a cocktail. It's a dessert! There's a large window in the front wall (no glass, just opened up to the Quarter). You can sit there with your yummy cocktail and watch the people show. When you're done, stroll across the street and shop the market. My daughter and I don't think a trip to the Quarter is complete unless we've spent a little time at Molly's at the Market. (Best bathroom signage, too.)
