This place is awesome.Located in the middle of Mowata, Mo' Crawfish is as legit as they come. I have been to the Eunice area a few times for work over the last year or so. I aksed some of the locals for recommendations and they sent me here. Damn, they were right. The crawfish here both times I went were great. Plump, juicy, and spicy. They also have some super cool trays that have a little slider for your shell debris. All crawfish restaurants should adopt these trays. In addition to crawfish, you can get other boiled items as well as other Cajun fare. The gumbo comes with potato salad and is as good as any restaurant gumbo I have ever had.The waitstaff is young and super friendly. We received our food quickly and never had to beg for drink refills, etc. I highly recommend this place. It is even worth a trip to Mowata from wherever you are. Forget the touristy places, get yourself here.

Holy. Molllllllllyyyyyyyy! Why isn't this on the "MUST VISIT TO EXPERIENCE TRUE CAJUN CULTURE" list?! I don't know. It's literally in the middle of no where...so when you first pull up, you might be questioning why in the heck you drove out to the middle of no where?! Well as soon as you walk inside, you'll understand! First of all, it's family run -- farm to table (from their own farming!). How cool is that?! Upon entering, you'll be greeted by a family, a darling married couple and one of their precious children! Our bartender was Otis, one of the kids, and he was so entertaining, attentive, and fun the whole night! The drinks were stellar! Try the pink frozen drink -- not too sweet, but strong with a gentle flavor! The food was so good -- we pretty much tried one of every appetizer...and I've never had anything as dreamy or unique as those crawfish patties! We ordered a platter with shrimp, crawfish, and king crab -- everything was huge, tender, and peeled like magic! The seasoning is perfection. There's no better boiled seafood in all of Lousiana. Please, someone fight me about it. And I've had the "best" -- as far south of the gulf -- and this little place (which you think would look like a janky hole in the wall, but is actually the most adorable, clean, and cute restaurant bustling with guests)... this little place in Mowata...well they win hands down!!!!!! Can't wait to go back!

I can't say enough good things about this place. The crawfish and beer are of course great, but the people are what make this place unique. Traveled down from Lafayette on a whim to get some legit crawfish, and Mike and Katherine - who own the local rice fields where they actually farm the crawfish in their own family - greeted and chatted me up like I was part of the community. Yes, they are the owners and are actually at the restaurant every night. They spent time telling me about the restaurant, the farm, and their family - who I'd love to get to know more next time. And the crawfish are huge! And yes, the beer is cold as promised. For travelers, please get out of the city to come down here -it's completely worth it. For locals, you already know how great this place is. This was the favorite part of my LA road trip.

Mo is our absolute favorite crawfish place by far. Always big, clean and perfectly spiced. They have amazing staff and a fun, clean atmosphere. Mo' Crawfish is a definite if you want the best locally farmed crawfish around.

We were in the area and wanted fresh crawfish. We decided to go with yelp reviews. This place is really cool on the inside. Neat stuff on the walls. Really well thought out. If not a bit small, when the rush hits. The staff is friendly and helpful. We started out with the crab cakes. Omg! So good! Then went with 5 lbs of crawfish to share. The seasoning is good, not salty. The crawfish were SO CLEAN....for those of you that like them, you know how important that is! Really good size, but the shells were so hard. Just that time of season, I think. The only other thing was, I like them soaked a bit more to get more seasoning taste. They go thru a lot quickly. So that might not be possible. We were actually asked to move tables after we had placed our order, as a big group had came in. A small inconvenience, but we were thanked and asked if we wanted a complimentary side of mushrooms and sausage. Very nice touch! The mushrooms were good, sausage not so much. The were brought out in a bowl, already sliced up, instead of links. Which had made them very dry and tough. All in all, a good experience. Oh and you get a free beer cuzie with your beer! Not much better than that!

Let me just tell you I'm in town for the weekend. Original from Eunice, but I live in Atlanta Georgia now. So I came into town and really wanted some crawfish. This place is phenomenal. The waitstaff really friendly, the beer is cold and just all-around five-story good

First time back in SE LA in three years. Brought my wife for the first time and wanted to get her some crawfish. My sister and her boyfriend came along and we all enjoyed the crawfish. Some of the best I ever had. I highly recommend stopping in.

If you're in the hunt for boiled crawfish within an hour of Eunice, LA, then this should be your first stop. It's a family owned and operated establishment by a group of folks whose top priority is to make sure you leave with a belly full and a smile on your face. The service is exceptional and the beer is ice cold. Try the "Cwissys" platter for the perfect sampling of all they have to offer. Make sure to tell the guy behind the bar hi as well, he might just throw in a free beer coozie and key chain bottle opener.

This place is packed with locals. As an outsider I stood while the locals yelled their orders at the bartender and I patiently waited and was ignored by a redhead bartender.... not cool. Looks like you have to be a local to get good service. The food was good. I honestly expected much better food with the amount of ppl there but Nothing to rant and rave over. I seriously do not understand the big deal about crawfish ..... I sat outside to miss the over hour wait, which was a nice option but It took a while to be noticed again, then I had to hunt down my server for the bill. Ugh.Also the menu did not have many options. I expected a lot more. If you don't want to get your hands dirty and crack or peel something you only have a couple options.... literally just a couple.Their prices are also high for creatures God put on the earth and they catch in their backyard for free..... wth is up with that! The up side is it is clean and restrooms are well maintained. Cute place. Most of the girls were friendly especially the two at the front door.I'm assuming on a slower day the service may have been better, but not the best impression for a first time out of towner.
